- First of all, make a paste. It is made easy enough: 200-250 ml of cold tap water and 2 teaspoons of starch are needed. Pour water in a bowl or mug and gradually add starch, carefully mixing the contents.
- We put on the plate a container with a future paste, the fire must be small. Constantly stir the contents of the mug. Bring to a boil and remove from the plate. If bubbles are formed, you can remove them with a teaspoon.
- While the paste will cool down, we will make from the pieces of cotton wool the future lumps of snow.
- Spoon or brush apply paste on the surface of each ball of cotton wool. Put ready snowballs on a plate, a tray or a dope. Let's leave the craft before it dries completely in a warm place.

- From one-piece sheets of cotton wool tear off small pieces. We squeeze them with our hands to get snowballs.
- We thread the white thread in the eye of the needle. If you make a snowfall of cotton wool with the children, then this step should be performed for you. Since in order to pass a needle through the whole cotton ball it will take a lot of effort, accuracy and, of course, a sharp needle. We measure the required length, but better cut more than less.
