1. Mix the flour, soda, baking powder, spices and salt in a large bowl, leave to one side. Beat the butter and brown sugar together in a large bowl with a mixer. 2. Add eggs and molasses, whip. Add the flour mixture and whip the mixer at low speed. Divide the dough into three pieces and wrap each in a plastic wrap. Put in the refrigerator until the dough becomes firm, for 1 hour or up to two days. 3. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured work surface to a thickness of 6 mm. Cut shapes to choose from using shapes, such as snowflakes or little men. 4. Lay the cookies on the baking sheets lined with parchment paper, 5 cm apart. Put the baking tray in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. 5. Bake cookies in the oven until crisp, from 12 to 14 minutes. Allow to cool on baking trays. 6. When the cookie cools down, you can decorate it with icing and sugar decorations. After applying the glaze, allow the liver to stand for about an hour at room temperature, until the glaze has solidified. Store cookies between layers of parchment or waxed paper in an airtight container for up to a week.
