The People's Artist of the USSR Nonna Mordyukova passed away

On Sunday, on the 83rd year of her life, Nonna Mordyukova died. It happened at 10 pm in the Central Clinical Hospital, where the actress was delivered the day before.

Nona Mordyukova has long been seriously ill - diabetes, and in 2006 she suffered a stroke. On July 4, the ambulance brought the People's Artist to the intensive care unit of the CDB with increased pressure - and although the condition stabilized, the doctors did not dare to transfer the patient to the usual ward, appointing a special rehabilitation course. On Sunday night, the actress died.

When such a person dies, the first reaction is a shock. It is simply impossible to believe that the artist, whose films have grown more than one generation of viewers, is no more. It would seem that the laws of time should not be over the people whose faces we learn from childhood, who accompanied us if not all, then a good half of life. And they really are in some ways not in power ...

Ironically, her last role Nona Mordyukova played in the documentary Renata Litvinova "There is no death for me." A film about five great actresses of Soviet cinema.

Nonna Viktorovna Mordyukova was born on November 25, 1925 in the village of Konstantinovskaya Donetsk region. She seemed to have a life of attack. About the "horse in the race" and the "burning hut" - all this about her. I saw, still a girl, the movie "Kotovsky", fell in love with the main character performed by Nikolai Mordvinov, and decided to become an actress. So I wrote in a letter to Mordvinov: I want to become an actress, and he takes it and answer. But she did not need help: after the war, Nonna Viktorovna came to enter VGIK - and entered there immediately, without preparation.

And already in the third year she made her debut in the adaptation of Fadeyev's novel The Young Guard and immediately became a star: for this role the student received the Stalin Prize.

True, then there was a break for several years and Aksinya lost time in the "Quiet Don" - the indigenous Cossack Mordyukova simply dreamed of this role, but she got Elina Bystritskaya. But in 1955 Mordyukova appeared in the movie "Another's relatives" by Mikhail Schweitzer, performing the role of Steshka Ryashkina, who had to make a choice between an unconscious family and her husband, a Komsomol member. And then there were dozens of roles - comedy, tragedy, satirical - Mordyukova could play anyone, give only scope for portraying the real character. Whether it is the collective farmer Sasha Potapova from the "Simple History", the merchant Belotelov in "The Wedding of Balsaminov" or the hamovataya manager in the "Diamond Hand". Mordyukova herself spoke about her roles, that her role is one - her heroine is the People, and not Anna Karenina.

Despite the fact that after Mishalkov's Rodney, Mordyukova starred in several other films, including Denis Evstigneev's Mom and Shirley-Myrli, Rodney was mentioned as the last film in which the role matched her dramatic talent.

In the 90s she really did not act in films: she did not play in serials, she almost did not appear in the movies - after all, the image of a strong-willed woman from the people gradually began to leave the screen. And after Mama, her last feature film, Mordyukova said she did not want to play old women, let the old roles stay in the audience's memory.

Her personal destiny has developed just as uneasily as the cinematic. While still a student at VGIK, she married Vyacheslav Tikhonov. This union lasted 13 years, but two great actors split up, and after that the actress never married. Son Vladimir Tikhonov died of a heart attack, before he reached the age of forty. But the actress continued to believe in life to the last. That's what her sister said, telling reporters about Mordyukova's departure: "She was sick for a long time and was very afflicted, but until the last moment she continued to rehearse, invented her own roles and dreamed about how she could play another game. Nonna just lived in cinema. "

People's Artist of the USSR Nonna Mordyukova will be buried on Wednesday at Kuntsevo Cemetery. "According to the will of the deceased, the civil funeral service, which is traditionally held in the House of Cinema, will not be," the Union of Cinematographers said.
