But if you decided on a dog, keep in mind that this decision is for many years to come, and therefore everything should be thought out in advance. Only then will your dog feel happy, and you will only have to enjoy its boundless devotion and obedience.
A cat is not so on its own
Cats also lead in pets. And when it comes to a small kitten, it is almost impossible to resist. Cats are universal. They feel great both in a private house and in a tiny apartment in a high-rise building. But no matter how large or small the room you occupy, you have to worry that the place where this quadruped lives is safe for him. The greatest danger for cats is represented by windows and balconies, because, contrary to popular belief, cats do not always land on their feet. In addition, do not forget that they are very mobile and like to climb and jump - at the same time rush to various objects.
Cats do not need to walk like dogs, but does not mean, however, that they do not need our attention and care. They are smart, active and very curious, so we have to give them the right dose of fun and interesting games. In addition, we must also remember about visits to the veterinarian, vaccinations, etc. But a healthy and happy cat will surely give its owner a lot of joy and fun.
If you do not have enough space or time to take care of a dog or cat, you can decide to have a small animal: a guinea pig, a hamster or a decorative rabbit.

Guinea pig is an excellent animal for the family. The content of guinea pig is suitable for any room: it is only necessary to provide this animal with a suitable "housing" - a cell of suitable size, a bowl for food and water. Remember that guinea pigs are herd animals. If they are alone, they are often unhappy and apathetic. Therefore, it is worthwhile to think again before taking care of guinea pigs. But watching such a fluffy "herd" is very fun. These animals are very active and intelligent, with proper care can live up to 10 years, so the decision to buy a pig can not be just a momentary whim.
Mom, I want a hamster!
No less popular and beloved people are decorative hamsters. They also need sufficient space for themselves: a cage or aquarium that must be equipped with a house, a food container and a jogging wheel for animals to do "gymnastics." Observing the life and behavior of this little rodent can give us much joy and will allow us to learn more about these creatures. They eat little, they are clean and non-aggressive. They live very little, but they easily and without problems multiply. Their only disadvantage is poor health. Rarely hamsters in the house live to their natural old age. The biggest enemy for them is drafts.
Rabbits - interesting, but troublesome
Rabbits are actually very demanding pets, which can cause a lot of trouble. This is not the best animal for the house. Thus, the decision to buy a rabbit must be really considered. These animals need great care, tenderness, warmth, and above all safety. Often they gnaw wires, carpets, walls and even the floor of their cage. They get used to their masters, but they can show aggression towards "strangers" in the house. Also, you can not leave them alone with young children - they can seriously scratch and even bite. It is a creature that needs to move a lot, and therefore it must be released from the cage for at least four hours a day. But rabbits in exchange for the necessary care in a position to give an amazing attachment to the owner, can welcome him when he comes home, lovingly cling to his feet, "whisper" something in the ear.
Turtle - silent interlocutor
Many people decide to have a turtle in the house. It seems that this pet is absolutely unpretentious. It should, however, be borne in mind that these wild animals and the conditions for them should, to the maximum extent possible, resemble their natural territory. Few can provide this in their apartment. Among veterinarians, there is an opinion that turtles in our homes "do not live, but just die slowly." In fact, it is difficult to assess the health of this animal - it is not easy even for a specialist. Ideally, turtles need a terrarium, and large enough to give freedom of movement and a quiet stay in one place. They fall into hibernation, so you must create all conditions for this. However, communication with these reptiles can give us great satisfaction and can become a really interesting hobby.
