Actor Yaroslav Boyko and his role in the cinema

The phrase "real man" seems utterly banal, until you meet the living embodiment of the classical image. Yaroslav Boiko is exactly this: the fluids that come from him, you can not confuse with anything. We remembered him after the tape "In August of the 44th", where he played a small but very convincing role of a polished and arrogant handsome officer from the commandant's office, and fell in love with the medical series "Neotkozhka."

And we met on the set of the movie "Harlem", which was shot in Kiev by Star Media company. Actor Yaroslav Boyko and his role in the cinema are really wise, because there is something to think about.

Because he is one of those men who, in an episodic role, attracts attention to himself. For his sake, we are ready to watch even Mentovskie serials. Because he is our man in Moscow. Having left his native Kiev in 1991, Yaroslav managed to catch on and quickly succeeded, becoming one of the most sought-after actors in Russia. But the Ukrainian capital is still considered the best city on earth. Because Sergei Soloviev entrusted him with the role of Count Vronsky in "The Love and Death of Anna Karenina," and now we know how one of the most compelling men in the world literature should look.

Tell us about the film?

No, I'm afraid of jinx. I can only say that I'm playing a Moscow cop. Bad or good? Normal.

You were born in the family of an officer. How do you feel about men's toys - weapons, uniforms? A-a, men's pasochki? I'm indifferent to them. I'm not a hunter, so I do not have a hunting rifle, and another - even more so. From whom to shoot? No, I do not need this. I shot in the army. He served in the frontier troops, we were regularly given out two clips - 50 rounds. The combat skills were honed at the shooting ranges. But there they were shooting at targets. Although, of course, everything happened. For example, at a nearby outpost, the young man shot "grandfather" because he was brought. I was just about to say that, probably with an automaton in hand, sometimes I want to shoot and not on targets, especially if they bring it. Yes, but you need to include your head. You in fact once dreamed of military service? Yes, in my childhood I wanted to be a military man.

We were brought up on the films "Volunteers", "Officers", "Zone of special attention". After this film in the military registration and enlistment offices there was no rebound from those wishing to go to serve in the landing. Boris Galkin, who played Tarasova, says that until now generals, majors often come to him to thank and confess: "Thanks to you, I became an officer-paratrooper." However, I myself, having served two years, realized that this is not mine. It's one thing - cinema, another life. And that's how strange everything is in life ... Shortly before you came to me, a friend with whom we lived on one site called, went to one group of kindergarten and one class. He wrote brilliant works in verse, a teacher of literature always set him an example. But I infected him with my dream of becoming a military man, and he entered a military school. And I, after finishing my mechanical and metallurgical work, I left for the army, I went back to work with a classmate, unexpectedly for myself, I entered the Karpenko-Kary Theater Institute. And then we met with him - at his graduation. He asks: "How are you?" I reply that I entered the theater. "Damn, this is my dream!" That's how it happens. In your life, it seems, many important events occurred spontaneously.

Yes. I went to Moscow so. In 1991, in the spring, he finished the second year of the Theater Institute. But all somehow not so developed. At the rehearsals, other students were given 2 to 3 comments, and I - forty pieces, because I used a lot of russisms. Once, on top of everything, I was late for the rehearsal. I'm sitting in the corridor, I think, how to be. Classmates come up to me: "Go, repent, you will be forgiven!" And I think: "Well, to hell with it, I will not repent, I do not really need it." And almost the same day he bought a ticket and went to Moscow.

My uncle lived there, stopped at him and straight to the Moscow Art Theater School. In the admissions office I was asked: why, they say, you break the fate, after all, two years in Kiev have disaccustomed? I explained that I want to play in Russian, but I was told that I hear a lot of Ukrainisms in my speech. And I was convinced that I was speaking as a central television announcer! However, the teachers said that speech can be corrected. For the first time I was dragged from Moscow to Kiev every two weeks, but the teacher of the scenes finally forbade me to do it, so that I would not be used to the Kiev dialect. Within three months he himself began to notice how different the melodic language is in Moscow and Kiev. The actor Yaroslav Boyko and his roles in the cinema are all really, and they have something to learn.

Now I do not know if I would have decided to move to Moscow, if everything had not worked out that way then? All coincided exactly on that day, and if I went to ask for forgiveness from the director, you would now, most likely, not take an interview with me. Even more global circumstances came to an agreement: I was enrolled in a school-studio before the collapse of the Union, so I was the last of Ukrainians who did not pay for tuition as foreigners. Roles also received due to coincidences? As many as you like. I remember six years ago I ran along the corridor of Mosfilm, and I was greeted by assistant Sergei Solovyov: "Oh, Glory, let's go, I'll introduce you!" Solovyov then conducted tests for "Anna Karenina." Soloviev, the master of our cinema! We are introduced, he says: "Let's make samples in makeup and costume."

I answer: "What a costume, I'm late for the play! You have 10 minutes! "Can you imagine who I said this to? Later, he confessed to me that at that moment he thought: just send me away or wait a bit? Decided to wait. The next day I had more time, I passed the tests and got the role of Vronsky. This is such a gift of fate.

At me the majority of roles turn out spontaneously. If I want anything - for example, I dream of playing in a film about the war, it does not work out. I do not mean a small episode, as in the film "In August of the 44th", but so that in the swamp with a submachine gun, to the ears in the mud ... In childhood, apparently, did not finish it, although in the courtyards played in guerrillas. And how do you realize the inclination to extreme? Yes there is no extreme in my life. I play football regularly in the same company. Basically there are former sportsmen, policemen, guys from the riot police. I'm the only artist. We meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays, even in contracts I write that these days I work strictly up to 17 hours. It is necessary to throw out everything that has accumulated during the week. I ran, I killed a mat, then to a bathhouse ... You leave and you feel: it's good!

I wonder what you are talking about in the bath. About women?

About women, too. But we are not so close to discuss intimate things. Our conversations are more similar to the issues of the "White Parrot". What makes you the most repulsive in women? Vulgarity.

What kind of woman do you consider sexy? I do not like this word ... But a strong erotic attraction was the young Elina Bystritskaya. And after all, no nudity, but in the eyes of such a passion ... Of modern actresses I like Julia Roberts. Somehow, filming on Goa in the series "Always say" always ", I met her on the street - walked by, with the children walking. Both Bystritskaya and Roberts are women who are intelligent and strong.

You are not afraid of such? In our culture, these women's traits are not very appreciated. For me, an intelligent woman is, say, Irina Khakamada. There are a lot of smart women in Ukrainian politics. Women politicians are diplomatic, not a rod ahead. A woman politician has a maternal instinct. Bleak - they are like that, they just need to assert themselves, but in a woman the creative principle is stronger, whether in the family or in the country.

You make the impression of a very testosterone man who does not listen very much to the woman's opinion.

Maybe I was like that when I was 20 years old. With age it passes. The fist on the table is a primitive level of relations. But I'm not allowed to cut. I'm on the sign of the zodiac Taurus, I'm not involved in clarifying the relationship, and if they start to saw me, I immediately become uninteresting - I'm leaving. To the question of age. What are your feelings about your age? Do you like being a 40-year-old? Do I have a choice? If I was, I probably would have chosen my childhood. This is the happiest time of life. I come to my yard on Voskresenka, I see a hill with which we with the boys on the sled went down. Tiny! Then it seemed - it's the Alps. The trees climbed, they tore apples, they were running to the Dnieper. Carelessness, recklessness ... unfortunately, with age passes. But much more comes. In 10 years you could not make decisions, could not buy yourself what you wanted. As Grishkovets: "Oh, and after all, to me, to get new sneakers, you do not need to bring a report card with fives. I can just go buy some new sneakers. I'm an adult! "

I do not know. At the age of 10, I had no unrealizable desires. When my parents did not buy me a bicycle, I got a little pissed off, and then I collected it myself - one wheelmate asked for an unnecessary wheel, another had a steering wheel, found something in the dump ... all problems were solved simply. I still try to live like this. I do not worry, I do not dig in myself. In the morning I woke up, the sun is shining - well, the rain is coming - it's not bad either, I remember when I was a child I listened to the drops on the windowsill, and it was a buzz. Do you fall in love easily? Do women inspire you? I'm a family man. I now inspire fives in my son's diary, his success in judo and music.

What kind of father are you?

Once he came from Minsk, where he was filming for six months, his wife complains: Max was completely beaten by the hands, this has done, talk to him. I take my son to the park, we walk, and we return with a new bicycle. To the wife I say: "I do not understand how he spread me!" So I'm not strict at all. I like talking with my son heart to heart, like a kid with a boy. I remember how Max and I talked about his future. I ask: "Who do you want to be?" - "How are you, an artist. You do not have to do anything, you go to different cities, you will be recognized in the streets ... "

I answer: "Max, well, you only see what's on the surface, in fact it's hard work." He: "Daddy, what do you want me to become?" - "Lawyer". - "And who is this?" - "This is a person who looks for laws to be enforced." He thought and said: "I'm afraid, Dad, that his sight will deteriorate." I laughed and continue: "In fact, I want only one thing: that you grew up an honest man." And he answered me thoughtfully: "Unfortunately, honest people do not earn money". What would you like to tell your son when you start talking about women with him?

I remember myself at the age of 17 and understand that I did not listen to anyone's advice. They said: they say, do not walk with this one, she will deceive you ... While you do not burn yourself with a hot iron, you will not remember that you can not touch it. I had my own bumps and my experience, my son will have his own.
