Raw smoothie from sea-buckthorn From the whole set of recipes for preparing blanks from sea-buckthorn, the most popular raw mashed potatoes with sugar. In it most fully preserved are all the useful substances with which this berry is so rich. The fruits of sea buckthorn contain vitamins (C, A, E, B1, B2, B3, etc.), as well as trace elements (boron, manganese, iron), sugars and organic acids. It is best to cook this puree with a double, in relation to the weight of sea-buckthorn, the amount of sugar. Such a blank can be stored even at room temperature, without losing its medicinal properties.
Ingredients:- Sea-buckthorn 1300 g
- Sugar 2000 g
- Step 1 To make mashed potatoes you need to take fresh fruits of sea buckthorn and sugar.
- Step 2 Wash the fruits of sea-buckthorn thoroughly and dry them.
- Step 3 Prepared berries to pass through a meat grinder and wipe through a frequent colander. You can use a special mechanical juicer to separate the juice from the cake and seeds (in the form of a meat grinder).
- Step 4 Weigh the resulting mashed potatoes (should be 1 kg) and add twice the weight of sugar.
- Step 5 Puree with sugar carefully stir and leave for several hours, periodically stirring the mass. The only condition for good quality of the billet is complete dissolution of sugar. When storing puree in jars, it should not settle on the bottom in the form of a dense sugared sludge.
- Step 6 Put the mashed potatoes in parboiled jars and cork. Such puree can be stored even at room temperature under a polyethylene lid.
