Celine Dion was born on March 30, 1968 in the small town of Charlman, 30 kilometers from Quebec. She was the youngest of fourteen children in the working family of Ademar and Teresa Dion. But after a couple of decades her name became known to almost everyone.

It's hard to believe that the native language of the singer, who sings virtuously in English, is in fact French - she was born in French Canada. Until nineteen years old, Celine did not know a single word in English! Learning the language of the neighboring Canadian province was not due to goodwill, but under duress: the producers explained that in French, alas, no world recognition is achieved. Dion was far-sighted Mireille Mathieu, who did not want to learn English and thus significantly limited the range of her popularity. By the way, Celine, like Mathieu, is from a very large family. She is the youngest of 14 children. True, her parents were not shopkeepers like Mireille, but musicians, who, along the weekend, performed with children in a small club in a provincial town near Montreal. So Celine sang in public since six years.
With Mathieu Dion, of course, they are related not only to love for a large family and a common language. The Canadian diva, by the way, also has a five-o'clock ball and convincing dramatic talent. The first unforgettable appearance of Dion before the European public took place at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1988. Judges of many countries called it the best. Only, apparently, the movie from the very beginning was written to her on the family, because it was with the song of Dion to the Disney cartoon "Beauty and the Beast" that her conquest of the international audience began. Then there was the equally famous song, performed by Dion duet with Clive Griffin "When I fall in love" from the sensational film "Sleepless in Seattle". And then the Titanic.

Celine Dion with some kind of frightening consistency embodies her childhood dreams, both creative and personal. It is clear that a girl from a provincial wealthy family wanted a magnificent wedding ... However, no one expected such a scale! Preparation for the event took a whole year. Particularly impressive was the attire of the bride and the fabulously expensive diadem. The wedding was christened "royal". By the way, relatives, after studying the family tree of Dion, found that their adored girl is a direct descendant of the King of Franks Charlemagne!
And who became the happy elect of the singer? Do not doubt - her producer, besides the first - Rene Angel, who is her age father. It was he who "discovered" her at the age of 12. In the end, their family union was completely upset. In the press there were reports that Céline was barely able to recover from the suicide attempt.
However, fortunately, this did not affect the work. In the fall of 1997, Celine Dion's triumphal album "Let's Talk About Love" ("Let's Talk About Love") was released. By the way, the song "My heart will not stop" just from this record. Celine always liked to surprise, but this album just shook her. Idols of her youth
