Lip tattoo is popular both among the population of our country, and other countries. This procedure has become widespread in the last decade. Tattooing involves the penetration of highly dispersed pigment into the surface layer of the skin, which is why it is possible to create makeup. Term of wearing permanent make-up reaches an average of 3-5 years and depends on a number of factors, among which are the features of the skin of a person. It should be noted that cosmetic correction of the lips is under the influence of anesthesia, which is a liquid ampouled anesthetic. Anesthesia allows you to tattoo your lips more comfortably and painlessly.
However, the advantages of tattooing are counterbalanced by contraindications. When tattooing lips, contraindications differ between relative and absolute.
Absolute contraindications mean:
- Somatic diseases of the client
- Diabetes mellitus type I or II with insulin therapy
- Acute inflammatory processes in the body
- Diseases, accompanied by a decrease in the coagulability of blood.
- Keloid scars. Correctly carried out permanent make-up does not lead to the appearance of seals or scars on the skin. The procedure of permanent make-up affects only the upper part of the dermis, namely the papillary layer. Due to this, the probability of occurrence of a keloid scar is reduced to a minimum. However, it must be remembered that non-compliance with the technology of micropigmentation and violation of the rules of care during the healing period, for example, premature peeling, significantly increases the likelihood of keloid formation.
- Neoplasms of unknown etiology and malignant neoplasms. In some cases such clients do tattooing, but only with the permission of the doctor. There is a known case when a client with a diagnosis of leukemia, oncologists gave permission for permanent make-up of eyebrows. The chemotherapy of this girl led to the loss of part of the eyebrows. Doctors allowed eyebrow tattooing to improve the mood of the patient. Rehabilitation after permanent make-up of the eyebrows went without complications, in normal terms.
- Epilepsy.
- Mental disorders.
- Diseases of viral etiology - hepatitis, HIV, AIDS. With such infections, procedures are prohibited.
Relative contraindications of tattooing include:
- High blood pressure. In the case of hypertension, it is recommended to monitor the pressure indicators: measurement before the procedure and, if necessary, taking the drug to normalize the pressure.
- Allergic manifestations. In order to avoid the development of serious allergic reactions, an allergic test should be performed on the body's response in response to the administration of analgesic drugs used for anesthesia and pigment.
- Inflammatory processes on the skin in the tattoo zone, especially during the period of exacerbation. For example, acne in grade 3 or 4, the network in the presence of inflammatory-purulent foci, as well as pink acne (that is, the process of inflammation takes place) are contraindications to the performance of permanent make-up. In such cases, before the tattoo procedure, it is recommended to undergo treatment with a dermatologist.
- Herpes, especially in the acute stage. In the case of such an infection, it is recommended to undergo treatment with modern antiviral drugs. Persons who often suffer from herpetic eruptions on the surface of the lips are advised to do tattooing. This is due to the fact that after the procedure there is no need for constant use of lipstick, which often irritates the red lip rim and promotes infection with the herpes virus. In addition, after the tattoo, the lip rim is slightly compacted, which prevents the appearance of rashes on the lips.
- Pregnancy and lactation. Do not make permanent make-up in the 1st trimester of pregnancy. Tattooing can be performed during 2-3 trimesters, as well as when feeding the baby with breast milk, but only with the permission of the doctor and in the absence of anesthesia.
- Menses. The period is accompanied by bleeding and soreness, therefore it is recommended to do tattooing in the middle of the cycle.
- Drug or alcoholic intoxication.
