Custard with Calendula Cream - paste made of cream or butter with sugar, which is used as a filling and for decorating cakes and pastries. Sometimes extra eggs, milk, and also various flavoring and flavoring additives are used: cocoa powder, vanilla. Today we will prepare the custard. Sometimes you need to tint the color of the cream. For this we use natural dyes. Today we use the flowers of calendula for tinting the cream. The custard is very gentle, light. It well impregnates flour products. They can also decorate cookies. There are many recipes for custard, but this has been tested many times. I will gladly share this recipe with you.
Ingredients:- Butter 100 g
- Eggs chicken 2 pcs.
- Sugar, vanilla 5 g
- Sugar 250g
- Milk 500 ml
- Wheat flour 3 tbsp. l.
- Calendula 30 g
- Step 1 To prepare the custard, you need to take butter, milk (preferably homemade), flour, eggs, sugar, marigold petals for coloring the cream.
- Step 2 Beat in an egg mixer, add sugar by spoon, whilst continuing to beat.
- Step 3 Boil the milk.
- Step 4 Add the marigold petals. Boil for 5 minutes. Leave to stand still for 10 minutes. Strain.
- Step 5 Add (3 tablespoons with a slide) on a spoonful of flour. Stir thoroughly.
- Step 6 Stirring the whisk so that there are no lumps, put on fire. Pour sugar-egg mass. Continue brewing the cream for 10 minutes, stirring all the time with a whisk. Remove from heat. Cool slightly.
- Step 7 In a warm mass, add butter slices. Stir until homogeneous.
- Step 8 Put the mass in the blender cup. Beat the cream.
- Step 9 Put the cream in a bowl. Use as directed with a pastry syringe or spread on a cake with a spoon.
