How to distinguish depression from a simple decline of power?

One of the most typical symptoms of depression is a systematic violation of physiological processes - difficulties of falling asleep, awakening with regular nightmares, abstract thoughts that interfere with sleep and make you wake up in the middle of the night. But this does not mean that sleeping problems are a sure sign that you are suffering from depression. There are stress-related jumps in the nervous system that, over time, are restored without having time to influence family life.
