"Morning" exercises. As soon as you wake up, stretch well, without getting out of bed, and, breathing deeply, turn over from side to side. This will allow your spine and other muscles to relax - they were squeezed during sleep.
Since many sleep with tightly clenched teeth and eyelids, you should do the exercise: open your mouth and eyelids 4 times.
In order for your eyes to be ready for work for the whole day - tighten your eyes very tightly 6 times, then make 12 light blinks. And do not forget to blink often during the day.
Exercise "Write with your nose." This exercise will relax the base of the skull and back of the neck. You can also use it as soon as you feel the first tension in these parts during the day. To complete the exercise, close your eyes and imagine your nose, like an elongated pen, try to write letters or words in the air. If you keep your eyes slightly open, then involuntary eye movement will begin - about 70 times per second. Thus, after this exercise, when you open your eyes, you will feel your eyesight sharper.
Useful exercises will be not only for the eyes, but for the eyebrows.
The consequence of tension in the eyes may be overhanging of heavy eyebrows over the eyes. To fix this, just raise your eyebrows. There should be some feeling in the area of the upper part of the ears. If it does not, continue to do the exercise until it appears. As soon as it appeared, try to achieve such a feeling in the ears without lifting your eyebrows. If you do this, all the weight from the eyes will automatically go away, and you will get rid of the tension in the eyes.
Finger turns. Keep your finger in front of your nose and turn your head from side to side, holding your gaze on your finger and convincing yourself that the finger is moving. Repeat this exercise about 30 times, alternately opening and closing your eyes. This will allow you to release tension from the eyes
Do the palming for 5 minutes, lying on your back, pre-slipping the pillow under your head, and your elbows under the pillow.
After rising from the bed, do the exercises "Big turns". Do this exercise for 2-3 minutes.
All these exercises may take about 10 minutes to complete.
Do not forget to do exercises before bedtime, such as palming, for a few minutes, so you let your eyes rest during sleep.
Develop useful habits for your eyes:
- more blink, move more, bring this habit to automatism,
- "Travel" on the subject that you are interested in, consider it from all sides,
- breathe continuously and easily,
- focus the sight from near objects to distant and back,
- Do not strain your eyes, look at objects without effort,
- let's rest your eyes, just close your eyes for a while.
Remember: exercise for the eyes must be done correctly.
Sometimes, you are trying very hard to correct your vision, however, doing all the exercises carefully, you get the opposite effect. Eyes even more tired. The thing is that you do not let your eyes rest. It is necessary to give time to palming, relaxation. This is also an important "exercise" for the eyes.
Vision improves gradually if you methodically engage in it. At the very beginning, you can feel a noticeable improvement, but after a lull is possible. Do not be discouraged, continue gymnastics for your eyes, and really you will achieve a good result.
Sight and TV
Often we hear parents say to their children: "Do not sit at the TV for a long time!". And they are right if the child stared at one point on the screen. A close look reduces vision. But did you know that periodically watching movies and transmissions only trains your eyes? Those who like to watch TV shows and films, it is recommended to use them as gymnastics for the eyes. But do not overdo it for hours watching all the programs on all TV channels.
How to watch movies correctly:
- Try to sit in front of the screen, so as not to strain your eyesight unnecessarily, if you sit down from the side.
- Choose the optimal distance for your vision.
- Keep your head straight, resting it on your spine. Do not tilt your head forward, do not tilt back.
- Move your eyes around the screen while watching, do not hold your gaze at one point.
- Breathe deeply while watching a movie, blink often.
- In order to give your eyes a rest, cover them for a short time, so you let them restore the nerves of the retina and relax the muscles of the eyes.
How to work properly at the computer
Those who spend a lot of time at the computer, remember the following recommendations:
- Create good conditions for lighting your workplace. Take into account that the light should not be too bright and get straight into the eyes.
- Place the monitor screen just above your eye level.
- You can paint the walls of your office or workstation in blue, so you can achieve the same glow of the monitor screen and the brightness of the lighting.
- Take breaks in work at the computer. Let's rest your eyes for 15 minutes in one hour of work.
Exercises for the eyes for those who spend a lot of time at the computer:
1. Close your eyes and open your eyes wide.
2. Movement eyes left, right, up, down. Take care that your head does not move after your eyes. Change the direction of travel.
3. Blink often for 1-2 minutes.
4. Close your eyes and massage the eyelids with your fingers in a circular motion for 1-2 minutes.
