Fashion Week in St. Petersburg

In St. Petersburg on the stage of the Alexandrinsky Theater you can now see unusual performances. And this is not the production of any experimental troupe - one of Melpomene's most famous temples in the country has given shelter to trendy designers and their fans. In Alexandrinch yesterday began Fashion Week. Within this large-scale event, about 35 collections of domestic and foreign designers will be shown. Also there will be numerous master classes, autograph sessions, presentations, defile of St. Petersburg fashion schools, etc.

The Week was opened by the British brand Toni & Guy, which was attended by non-professional models, which were recruited directly on the street. Apparently, both models and designers from the very beginning of this fashion marathon were imbued with the theatrical atmosphere of one of the oldest theaters in Russia - each show is somewhat reminiscent of a performance, and some of the outfits are similar to theatrical costumes.

Fashion models defile with the most unthinkable hairstyles, and some even with horns on their heads (yes, the success of "Maleficenta" by Angelina Jolie had a significant impact on the fashion of recent seasons). From the very first shows, some actual trends have been determined - all the same hairstyles of non-standard shapes, as well as hair of non-standard colors, colorful men's socks and shoes with a square toe. Fashion Week in the Northern Capital will last until April 5.
