"Forest riders" jumped from the comics to the big screen

Popular comics 70's "Elfquest" in all pairs are moving under the wing of the studio Warners Bros, which will take their adaptation. In the painted stories of Wendy and Richard Pinnia, which were released by the authors themselves in 1978, the Elves of the Forest Horsemen were told who want to find other tribes of their brethren scattered on their planet with two moons. In their search they encounter tribes of people and trolls, who turn out to be both their enemies and allies.

A series of stories, later released by Marvel and DC Comics - attracted the attention of a more adult audience thanks to battle scenes and a weak touch of sexuality, which in those years could provide considerable interest.

Written by Rowson Marshall Turber ("Bouncers"), it seems that he will take the director's chair as well. The format of the future work has not yet been determined. Hollywood has repeatedly made attempts to bring this comic to the screen - their efforts were crowned with the cartoon "The Saga of Forest Riders" (Elfquest, 2002)
