Old clothes

Every person in the closet probably has a lot of old clothes lying around, which is out of fashion or that does not fit in size. Or maybe the thing just lost its appearance. However, do not despair. If you know how to sew, then you can easily upgrade out of fashion dresses, skirts, trousers and the like. In addition, if the item has not lost its appearance, then it can be sewn children's clothes, and it can be used as a basis for the manufacture of various kitchen sticks, covers or cushions for furniture. From the flaps you can sew a blanket and even a whole blanket. In addition, old trousers can easily be turned into shorts, dresses in a sundress, and a jacket in a vest.

Jeans are perfect for making bags, seat covers, bedspreads. Also denim fabric can be used for patchwork sewing. But do not forget, before you start making something new from an old thing, you need to wash it well and iron it.

If you have crocheted things in your closet, do not rush to throw them away. If the yarn is strong, then it can be dissolved and used to knit a new thing. And even if you do not risk knitting sweaters or pullovers from such yarn, then it is quite suitable for knitting socks or mittens.

Pantyhose and stockings are for every girl. But, unfortunately, such things are very quickly torn, sometimes even before they reach the first wash. Therefore, as a rule, torn pantyhose goes to the trash without any thought. But cut tights on thin stripes can be used for crocheted or knitted needles bags, rugs and sponges. Home textiles

Home textiles should also not be rushed to throw away if it has lost its original appearance. For example, bed linen made of satin, linen or chintz is very high quality. From pieces of such fabric it is possible to sew a pillowcase and even the whole sheet. From plaids and bedspreads, you can sew new blankets in patchwork technique. Terry towels, as well as bedsheets, do not wear out completely. Therefore, unharmed parts of the towels can be cut, hemmed and used as kitchen towels. In addition, from large terry towels you can sew a beach bag, terry shorts or slippers and even a children's dressing gown. If the towels are not too big, then from them you can make washcloths, rugs, baby bibs and kitchen potholders.

Furniture

In general, almost any thing can find a new life, if it does not collapse completely. Lovers of doing something creative come up with a lot of interesting ideas. For example, an old fiber suitcase can be turned into a vintage coffee table or into a comfortable and stylish stove for pets. From old tennis rackets you can make a new frame for the mirror. From a broken umbrella (its upper part), you can sew a new bag, a school bag for change shoes, a kitchen apron and the like. From old burned bulbs you can make beautiful painted New Year's toys, and from a gramophone record - a new flower pot.

From old discs you can make frames and lampshades for photos or use them as decorative wall coverings. The inside of the refrigerator door can be converted into a hinged shelf for the bath. Shells can be taken to the dacha and make them the basis for a flower bed.
