Fruit cakes are especially tasty warm.
For 12 pieces:
260 g flour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1/2 tsp soda
2 tsp. Grated orange peel
3 oranges of medium non-size
1 egg
150 g of yellow sugar
0.1 L of neutral vegetable oil
0,25 l of buttermilk
For the form:
vegetable oil or 12 paper molds
Pay attention to the temperature of the oven at the beginning of the baking. Preheating the oven is especially important for a conventional electric oven - in a heated oven the dough is good. After 10-15 minutes you can lower the temperature to 160 ° C.
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Deepening on a baking sheet for muffins, grease or place paper forms in them.
- Sift flour into a bowl and mix it thoroughly with baking powder, soda and orange peel.
- Oranges cleaned, divided into slices, free from peel and cut into small pieces.
- Egg beat in a large bowl, add sugar, vegetable oil, buttermilk, pieces of orange and mix well. Top with flour and mix again gently.
- The dough is divided into pieces of the same size and placed in grooves on a sheet for baking cupcakes. Bake in the middle of the oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Leave the cupcakes on the sheet for another 5 minutes, then shift to a dish and serve warm to the table.
