Orange cupcake

Fruit cakes are especially tasty warm.


For 12 pieces:

260 g flour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1/2 tsp soda
2 tsp. Grated orange peel
3 oranges of medium non-size
1 egg
150 g of yellow sugar
0.1 L of neutral vegetable oil
0,25 l of buttermilk

For the form:

vegetable oil or 12 paper molds

Pay attention to the temperature of the oven at the beginning of the baking. Preheating the oven is especially important for a conventional electric oven - in a heated oven the dough is good. After 10-15 minutes you can lower the temperature to 160 ° C.

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Deepening on a baking sheet for muffins, grease or place paper forms in them.
  2. Sift flour into a bowl and mix it thoroughly with baking powder, soda and orange peel.
  3. Oranges cleaned, divided into slices, free from peel and cut into small pieces.
  4. Egg beat in a large bowl, add sugar, vegetable oil, buttermilk, pieces of orange and mix well. Top with flour and mix again gently.
  5. The dough is divided into pieces of the same size and placed in grooves on a sheet for baking cupcakes. Bake in the middle of the oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Leave the cupcakes on the sheet for another 5 minutes, then shift to a dish and serve warm to the table.
