A simple sauce for vegetables and fish In Russia and other Slavic countries, so far different sauces are not particularly popular. Is that tomato sauce (ketchup), mayonnaise and soy sauce are used constantly and are used for cooking hot dishes and salads. While in the West - in England, Italy, and especially in France, which is considered the birthplace of several hundred different types of sauces, without this seasoning there is not a single meal. The French are real gourmets, and a huge amount of delicious dishes invented by French chefs is proof of this. They have long understood that even the most common dish can be turned into a masterpiece with the help of a good sauce, which will add new flavor and aromatic notes to it. In addition, the use of sauces makes a huge variety in the menu, each time making the taste of the same dish completely different. For example, a nut sauce, which is cooked very easily and quickly, will make dishes from potatoes and other vegetables more tasty and satisfying. This effect can not be achieved simply by watering a side dish with sour cream or adding mayonnaise. But a mix of walnut, sour cream and greens will make a simple dish a real delicacy.
Ingredients:- Sour cream 100 g
- Walnut 150 g
- Fresh dill 0.5 bunch
- Sunflower refined oil 1 tbsp. l.
- Water boiled 2 tbsp. l.
- Pepper black ground 1 pinch
- Salt 1 pinch
- Step 1 For sauce you need 0.5 cups of crushed walnuts, sour cream not less than 20% fat, a small bunch of dill, vegetable oil, salt, pepper to taste.
- Step 2 Wash the greens thoroughly and finely chop.
- Step 3 Connect 0.5 cups of crushed nuts, 1 tbsp. vegetable oil, 2 tbsp. boiled water, sour cream and a pinch of black ground pepper.
- Step 4 Mix thoroughly until smooth, add salt to taste. The sauce fits well with potato beads, pancakes and other dishes from vegetables or fish.
