Roberto Cavalli has sold his brand

Roberto Cavalli, apparently, decided to retire - he sold more than 90% of his business to a private Italian company, Clessidra. Judging by the mood of the famous couturier, he did it not in connection with material difficulties, but precisely because he decided to retire from business.

The 73-year-old fashion designer has worked on his own brand for over forty years and now expresses satisfaction that the cause of his life fell into reliable hands. Roberto Cavalli said he was very pleased with the contract with the Italian partners, who will now exercise almost complete management of Roberto Cavalli brand. The fashion designer believes that the new team will bring to the new horizons of success the famous fashion house.

The head of the company will be Francesco Trapini, who for 25 years served as executive director of another well-known brand - Bulgari. Francesco is also pleased with the concluded deal, he appreciates the authority of the Roberto Cavalli trademark and his primary task is to preserve the uniqueness and identity of the brand, as well as to ensure its rapid international growth.
