Soup on a steam bath Today we will prepare the aromatic soup, which was inspired by William Pokhlebkin. His variations are diverse. You can use meat, you can fish, or you can just vegetables. The most important thing in cooking is the principle of non-contact cooking, which people of past ages enjoyed. In this case, we will cook on the steam bath. As a result, we get a tasty dish that preserves all useful substances. This is a type of soup, in which not the liquid but the main products predominate. Do not be discouraged by the cooking time, as the result will simply amaze you. After the water has begun to boil, we close the pan with a lid, reduce the fire, make it minimal and leave it to languish for 4 hours. After that, you can safely leave your dish to languish on low heat and only occasionally check if the water boils out. But it is best to pour a sufficient amount of water from the very beginning. The main thing, once again, do not open the lid and do not let off steam!
Ingredients:- Onions 1 pc.
- Potatoes 1 pc.
- Carrot 1 pc.
- Salmon fillet 200 g
- Salt 2 pinch
- Pepper black ground 2 pinch
- Bay leaf 1 pc.
- Step 1 We need: onions, potatoes, carrots, salmon (I have frozen cut fillets), salt, pepper, bay leaf.
- Step 2 Cut the pieces of potatoes.
- Step 3 Cut the salmon squares. I took already sliced frozen.
- Step 4 Cut the carrots into half rings.
- Step 5 We cut the bow into semicircles.
- Step 6 Pour boiling water into a large saucepan. Inside, put the bowl so that the potted water does not reach its edges, and it covers about 2/3, so that the bowl will stand steadily.
- Step 7 We put all the products in the bowl. Next, put the pan on the stove and allow the water to boil.
- Step 8 After the water has begun to boil, close the pan (not the pial!) With a dense lid, reduce the fire, make it minimal and leave it to languish for 4 hours. 10 minutes before the cook, we throw the laurel leaf, salt and pepper to taste.
- Step 9 After 4 hours in place of dry ingredients in the bowl will be a fragrant soup. Bon Appetit!
