In each collective there is a person who at first is just an ideal employee: and everything understands and helps, in a word, all such kind and fluffy. But here passes a certain period of time, a person gets promoted and all this "kindness" instantly disappears. Moreover, the person completely ceases to communicate with his colleagues or looks down on them, insolently and, to put it mildly, quite ugly in relation to his employees. This whole behavior has an explanation: it's just that your "good" person has a disease, and stellar.


How to recognize the "star" of an employee ?

It should be noted that all the professions are ill with star fever, be it an accountant or a programmer. And the point here is completely not in the profession, but in human behavior. "Star person" can be easily recognized. Such a person tries to attract too much attention, demands a higher salary than other employees, bonuses, does not pay attention to remarks for being late, as if this should be so. Among other things, people impose their opinions with particular persistence, as if only his opinion is truly right, although all his methods and merits are in the distant past. Man is not going to meet halfway and does not notice his mistakes.

Most often this happens with those employees who make rapid career growth or in the process of work receives praise from their superiors for a well-done job. Also, good relations with the authorities lead to this, and, the closer they are, the stronger the stellar illness.

Unfortunately, such people simply can not be "cured". Therefore, if you notice one of your employees signs of stellar illness, you must urgently take action.

  1. Treatment with the help of employees. For example, for the misdemeanor of the star, the entire collective is punished. It is unlikely that someone will like to pay a fine or get up at dawn for an early night because of one offender. Sooner or later the team will get tired of all this, and they will quickly put the star in place.

Remember, no matter how good an employee, there are no irreplaceable ones, and you can always find a better employee who will cherish both work and team.
