The most common causes of seborrhea
Dandruff is a dead skin cells that stick together, turning into small flakes. In a healthy person, the process of cell death occurs slowly enough, and the cells themselves become dust and removed by the usual washing of the head. But in a person suffering from seborrheic dermatitis, such flakes are not washed away, but remain on the skin and clog the pores, disrupting the natural oxygen exchange. As a result, the hair becomes dull, weakened, brittle, prone to loss.
The appearance of dandruff is associated with many factors, and before treating it, it is necessary to identify the main cause. Among the most common factors are:
- poor washing off of cosmetics (the remains of shampoo or conditioner cause irritation and clog cells)
- a rare washing of the head and the use of unsuitable cosmetics (for example, an incorrectly selected shampoo provokes dry skin and the appearance of flakes)
- lack of vitamins (in particular, a deficiency of vitamins A, E, B)
- stress and fatigue (can provoke failures in the work of the endocrine and nervous systems)
- daily drying with a hair dryer (causes dry scalp)

Castor oil also nourishes the scalp well and prevents the appearance of scaling. It is very easy to prepare an oil-based mask: it needs to be slightly heated in a water bath and rubbed into the scalp 30-40 minutes before washing.

To rub the received mixture it is necessary massage movements in a skin of a head before the basic washing of hair. Such exfoliation perfectly removes dead cells and reduces the increased salping of the skin.
Onion mask for dandruff
Good for seborrhea and a common onion. To make an onion mask, grind a small onion and squeeze the juice through a gauze napkin.
The resulting juice must be rubbed into the skin and wrapped in a towel for an hour, then rinse the hair thoroughly with shampoo.
