Peroxide of hydrogen for the face
This solution is used for disinfection of wounds and damages to the skin, but the appropriateness of its use in home cosmetology procedures is in question. On the one hand, spot treatment of the face with a 3% solution is a quick and painless way to dry out the rashes and remove the effects of acne in the form of stagnant spots. But on the other hand, the active oxygen, which is part of this product, damages the skin cells, contributing to its rapid aging.
Benefit of Hydrogen Peroxide for the Face
In addition to treating rashes and acne, the solution is used to remove freckles and stagnant spots, and also as a cleanser. The effect of active oxygen on the skin contributes to the removal of the cornified layer of the epithelium, because of which the tone of the face is slightly lightened. To get the whitening effect, you need to wipe your face with a tonic daily with a few drops of this remedy. In cosmetology, hydrogen peroxide is used as a cleanser, it can be used as part of a skin peeling mask. The mask consists of hydrogen peroxide (3% solution) and sour cream or cream. Mix the ingredients from the calculation of 5 drops of the solution on a tablespoon of cream, treat the mixture with the skin and leave to act for 15 minutes. Application of hydrogen peroxide against acne

Antiseptic properties of peroxide prevent the proliferation of pathogenic microorganisms, because of which there is a pimple. For allergic rashes, this method is not suitable, but on the contrary, only aggravate the situation. Hypersensitive and prone to allergic reactions, the skin reacts with inflammation in response to the effects of chemically aggressive substances, which include hydrogen peroxide. The use of active oxygen for cosmetic purposes on sensitive skin is not recommended.
