Ancient traditions, customs and way of life, forming a true Russian character and worldview, are now interested in more and more people who want to preserve and revive the ideals of family, friendship and love on which the strength of the Russian soul is based. And if the future spouses have decided to spend their main day in the style of Russian wedding, they can be proud of their choice. Because it will be not only a beautiful and unique event, but also a real holiday for all guests present.

Registration of Russian wedding
Weddings in Russia were usually played at the end of summer, after the harvest was over and, as a rule, no special room was needed for this, because the feast was organized in the bosom of nature. However, if the date of the marriage relates to another time of the year, then the venue for the wedding may well be a banquet hall.

Ideal option for organizing a banquet will be a tourist base or recreation center with a spacious wooden house, since guests at Russian weddings usually have a lot. In the summer season, long wooden tables and benches should be put on the street, possibly under a specially designed canopy.

If the celebration takes place in the house, then the hall can be decorated with floral garlands made of paper, embroidered towels, and behind the backs of the young hang a small icon.

The highlight of such a wedding is, of course, dishes. It should be wooden - cups, bowls, dishes, painted with Russian patterns. From cutlery to all, without exception, only wooden spoons rely on guests.

Tables covered with white tablecloths, if possible with bright embroidery and complemented with the same napkins. In fact, more festive Russian folk table does not require any decorations, except, of course, food.

Wedding menu
The festive table should just burst with different dishes. It is necessary that during the feast the change of dishes on the table takes place at least four times. In the old days the Russian wedding was famous for its abundance of treats. Sometimes guests had to hold plates in their hands, because for them there was no place on the festive table.

The most common appetizer for such a holiday is pickles, pickled mushrooms, soaked apples, sauerkraut, fish, pies and pancakes with various fillings. From meat dishes you can serve young piglets, fried completely and stuffed with buckwheat.

As for booze, usually vodka is served for such a table - for the male half of the guests and all sorts of tinctures, liquors and house wine - for women. Non-alcoholic drinks for this holiday are kvass, compotes and various fruit drinks.

Dresses
A good wedding in this style and the fact that the outfits and attributes for such a holiday can be searched in chests from their grandmothers, and not only to buy in a store. The bride needs a white shirt with wide sleeves, embroidered with patterns and a silk sarafan scarlet or green.

On the head before the wedding or wedding ceremony, the bride must wear a wedding crown, the traditional headdress of the bride, embroidered with beads, pearls, colored and silver threads, and then as a married woman she must wear a ponoynik. Hair can be dissolved and possibly curled.

Depending on the time of the year when the wedding is held, the bride's feet are best served with short boots made of leather or satin shoes without heels, matched in color to the sarafan. And of course, we must not forget about jewelry - large beads and earrings.

For the groom, traditional striped portals fit into boots, a red shirt, belted with a sash and a new caftan.

Entertainment at the wedding
To entertain guests, it is necessary to show imagination, but from classical folk games it is necessary to hold a tug of war, jumping in bags and eating pancakes race. It is also traditional to dance dances, sing Russian folk songs, invite an accordionist and arrange a contest of chastushki.
