What is the most harmful in fast food?

The child constantly demands to treat him with different "harmfulness" - then he wants a pizza, then a hamburger. And what about fast food is the most harmful?

Hot Dog (sausage in a bun)

In a typical hot dog with a bun, almost half the daily intake (DNP), more precisely 45% of harmful (saturated) fats, more than a third of DNP (38%) of salt, and also:

19% of diets of calories,
13% of the LDL cholesterol,
24% of DNP of fats,
15% of DNP of carbohydrates,
1.5 g of harmful trans fats.

Sausage, as a rule, contains much more soy and starch than meat. And food chemistry creates her taste, color and consistency. Phosphates, while retaining water, increase the volume of sausages. And preservatives allow them to be stored for a long time. The sausage is cooked on the grill and, therefore, can contain carcinogens.

Bun is usually made from the most unpleasant flour and contains chemical food additives no less than a burger for a hamburger. Mayonnaise or ketchup is also the cheapest, with a mass of food additives and a minimum of tomatoes.

Pepperoni pizza (1/4 pizza, 180 g)

If you eat this pizza, you will almost half of your daily limit for salt (DNP 47%) and harmful (saturated) fats (DNP 46%), a third for cholesterol (DNP 35%) and fats (DNP 31%), for a quarter - by calories (DNP 24%).

A properly cooked pizza, for which good cheese and vegetables are used, can be useful and tasty. But for fast food, the cheapest components and a lot of food additives are often used, making this product unsuitable.

The basis of pizza (bread): bleached flour, sugar, soy or cottonseed oil, preservative potassium sorbate. Pizza cheese may contain modified starch and preservatives.

The filling for pepperoni pizza contains a lot of food additives: sodium nitrite, BHA, BHT, flavors.

Big burger

Having eaten just one big hamburger, you will almost half of your daily limit on salt and harmful (saturated) fats. In it, 46% (!) DNP salt and 45% (!) DNP saturated fat. In addition, it contains many other unpleasant substances: 25% of the dietary supplement of calories and cholesterol, 37% of DNP fat, 15% of DNP of carbohydrates, almost 2 pieces of sugar, 1.5 g of harmful trans fats. The cutlet is cooked on the grill and, therefore, can contain carcinogens. There are no food additives in meat, but in a bun and sauce - a lot of additives and other non-nutrients. Bread: bleached wheat flour, high fructose syrup, soybean oil with trans fats, sulphate, carbonate and calcium silicate, soy flour, emulsifiers, dough conditioners, calcium propionate preservative. Sauce: soybean oil, high-fructose syrup, sugar, propylene glycol alginate, preservatives sodium and potassium benzoate, EDTA.

Wings of chicken (3 pieces, 150 g)

Having eaten only three wings, you will half-deplete your daily limit for cholesterol, 45% for fats and 40% for salt. In addition, you will swallow 24% of calories DGP and 18% of DNP harmful
(saturated) fats. May contain carcinogens.

You probably will be surprised to learn that the wings are not 15% chicken, but water, phosphates and salt. In the sauce attached to them, a lot of soy and food additives (sodium diacetate, silicon dioxide).

Shaurma

For shawarma, the cheapest pork or chicken is used, often even overdue, - cooking on the grill and salt added in excess, "mask" all the shortcomings of meat. If the meat is not sufficiently cooked, it is easy to get poisoned. In the meat from the grill, there are always carcinogens. Sauces, ketchup and mayonnaise for shawarma are the cheapest and with a mass of food additives. Lavash is better than burgers for hamburgers and hot dogs, but this situation does not change.
