Today almost every woman has to make such a difficult choice: to reach professional heights or postpone promotion on the career ladder and devote herself to the family and children. Each of these paths has positive and negative sides, pluses and minuses that need to be taken into account. Our topic today: "Woman and career: the provisions of gender management."

Traditionally, the woman is the keeper and mainstay of the home, but in modern society this function becomes only one facet of the female being. Women manifest themselves in all spheres of life, achieve success, build a career. In this situation, the family inevitably recedes into the background, and children appear only at the age of 35. This is a minus, because doctors recommend to give birth to the first child no later than 30 years because of possible complications for the mother and baby. But a woman who decided to make a career first, and then start a child, is confident in her financial situation and can give her child all the best.

If a woman already has a child and she makes a choice in favor of a career, the situation is slightly different: the child has to be "instructed" by grandmothers, nurses, to give to the extended day group, etc. As a result, the child most of the time does not see his mother, he lacks warmth and attention. The fruits of such education are not the most comforting: disharmony in relations between parents and children, a negative microclimate in the family, loneliness and isolation of children. Such a concession in favor of a career will not bring anything positive.

The woman finally felt that employers no longer decide between a man and a woman. The chances are equal, but it's impossible to hold positions, if you decided to have children, because at least a few months you will not be in the ranks, and during this time the situation may change not in your favor.

Another situation where a woman gives birth to a child immediately after graduation is also not without its minuses. Firstly, immediately after the school it is difficult to get a good job, and if a small child is at hand, it is impossible at all. The prospect of living on a child benefit does not seem impressive.

Very often, women are afraid of losing their jobs due to pregnancy and childbirth. For the employer, the pregnancy of the employee is not a joy, but an extra headache. Therefore, the dishonest employer will try to fire the pregnant woman with all the truths and crooks. However, each of us should know that under the current legislation, a woman "in a position" can not be dismissed! This is an absolute plus.

While on leave for caring for a child, a woman feels "cut off" from the events taking place at work, in the team. There is a way out - to take work "home". This option is ideal for representatives of creative professions. For example, if a woman works as a designer, she can easily work on orders at home when the child is sleeping or playing. Thus, you can kill two birds with one stone: keep your professional skills and spend more time with your child.

So, the pros and cons are known. And yet, what choice to make: first to have children, and then to climb up the career ladder or vice versa? If this choice stands before you, remember that the happiest women are those who have found the golden mean and were able to combine care for the family and career growth. It is difficult, but achievable. Just do not need to take it all on yourself: ask your loved ones to help you. It is then that the two scales of the weights: "family" and "career" will come into balance.
