- sugar - 1/2 cup
- a piece of fresh ginger, finely chopped - 1 piece
- water - 1/2 cup
- apple cider - 41/2 Glass
- cinnamon sticks - 6 pieces
- pieces of ginger for decoration - 6 pieces
Mix the sugar, ginger and water in a medium saucepan, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook for about 1 hour. To cool. Pour 2 tablespoons of ginger syrup into each glass. Fill the glasses with ice cubes, pour apple cider and mix. Decorate cinnamon sticks and ginger and serve.
