Biography of Oprah Winfrey

Oprah Winfrey is currently one of the richest, most authoritative and recognizable TV presenters in the world. Her show has gathered millions of viewers around the world and this for more than one year. She is actively engaged in charity and is trying to change the world for the better.

Now she has billions of dollars, success, popularity and respect, but then, in 1956, nothing foreshadowed that in the family of an unemployed black American, the richest black woman in the world, Oprah, will be born.

Oprah was the first of three illegitimate children of Vernita, who gave birth to her at the age of 18. Her father was a miner and at the time of the birth of her daughter did not take a special part in her upbringing (was in the army). Mother, in order to feed herself, left her daughter for a grandmother, and she went to work.

Opra's grandmother on the mother's line was strict, the girl went with her to the church, where she quoted from all the passages from the Bible. Winfrey during the campaign in the church conquered everyone with her phenomenal memory of quoting the Bible. The girl from the childhood was clever and at the age of 2,5 years already was able to read and write. Grandmother lived in a remote farmhouse where there was no television and the girl from an early age was looking for solace in books and games with pets.

When she went to the kindergarten, immediately after the end of the first grade she was transferred to the third, because she overfulfilled the curriculum. Later, Oprah admitted that it was her grandmother who laid the rod in her, which helped her achieve successes in life.

At the age of 6, Oprah's mother took her to her home in the town of Milouki, where she lived in a ghetto. By the time Oprah had a half sister and brother. In the ghetto everything was not as it was in a remote rural hamlet, everything was much tougher. The girl was subjected to violence by her cousin-half-brother. Despite the poverty and violence, little Oprah performed at various events, but at the age of 8 she stole money from her mother and ran to her father, with whom she lived a year, and then her mother took her.

At 13, she again ran away from her mother, but when she ran out of money, she had to return, but her mother refused her and the girl went to her father. She tried in every possible way to hide her pregnancy and when she realized that she could no longer hide, drank a jar of detergent, she was pumped out, but the fruit did not last long. Oprah persuaded doctors to hide the truth about her pregnancy from her father, and after she was discharged, she realized that since God gives her a second chance, she certainly will not miss him.

Oprah later in one of her interviews said that when her child died, she was relieved, because it was the result of not much love, but of the violence she was subjected to, and if he survived, she would definitely commit suicide, since knew perfectly well that at that moment in life she did not have anything good, and even more so for her child.

After that, Oprah began to live with her father in his new family, where the girl just blossomed, because she was paid attention and in every way cared. He believed in his daughter, told her that she could become better and the girl began to study well, was engaged in oratory, entered the school asset, won many different contests and got to the reception with the President of America as a representative of the gifted youth of her region.

She entered the university and combined work at radio stations, led the news and finally began earning the first tangible money for her oratory. Later, Oprah began to carry news, but she so empathized with what happened, she was removed from the news, but she did not give up.

Over time, she was invited to become a leading entertainment program. In 1984 she moved to Chicago and in this city she is appointed a leading lunch news. This program had the lowest rating, since it came out at one time with the show of the legendary Phil Donahue. Opra doubted whether the black leader would accept, but in just a few months the rating of the program in which she was leading rose sharply, and now Phil Donahue himself was forced to move to another city.

In 1985, he starred in the movie Quincey Jones "Flowers of purple fields", for which she received an "Oscar" and "Golden Globe", after that she starred in many films and voiced them, but still achieve the recognition that she received after her film debut could not.

The film debut made her very popular and helped her in her new show "The Oprah Winfrey Show." This show was attended by politicians and politicians, computer geniuses, and most stars of the Hollywood show business. Today it's easier to say who was not on Oprah's side, than to list those who had it. In just a few months she turned into the best friend housewives, because she was not just leading her shows, she felt them and put their soul into them.

On her show came and writers, the result of this was that their books were swept off the shelves the next day, in general Oprah turned into a real advertiser who did not specifically advertise this or that product.

At one time, she supported George W. Bush, and behind him was Barack Obama, and as we can see, both of these men became presidents of America in their time.

After earning a fortune, enterprising Winfrey decided to buy her own film studio, and also registered her firm, which produces various television products. Her income began to increase very quickly and over time, she entered the Forbes list. In May 2011, she finished her show "Oprah Winfrey Show" and said goodbye to the audience. Soon, OWN launched its own television audience, whose audience from the start of the project was 80 million viewers.

As already mentioned above, Oprah is able not only to make good money, but also spend it on charity, she sponsors schools in Africa, helped the Haitians who suffered after the earthquake.

Probably, the secret of the popularity of this woman is that she is honest before herself with herself and is very responsible about her work and does not hide her real problems.

Once she admitted that she struggled with her excess weight for many years, and exhausting fitness and tough diets did not lead to anything good, because she realized that excess weight is a reflection of her internal problems, which she still managed to get rid of and throw off excess weight.

As we see, in her almost 60 years Winfrey has achieved everything that a business woman could dream of, she has a lot of money, a confession, many friends, but alas, she never married and she has no children.

For about 20 years she has had a long relationship with Steadman Graham. This businessman conquered Oprah's heart, and they even announced their engagement, but then Winfrey changed her mind, felt that if they got married officially, then their relationship could end, and Steadman did not mind, so they did not get married.

She confessed that she was heartbroken three times, and after she broke up with her boyfriend in 1981, she wanted to commit suicide altogether. Since then, she decided that in her life no one else will be between her and her career, so she has not yet married.

She likes to be successful, in demand and she consciously sacrificed her family and the happiness of motherhood, in order to become rich.
