Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Lubricate the baking sheet with oil, set aside. Mix sugar and vegetable fat together with an electric mixer in a bowl until they mix well. Add the eggs, mix. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, soda, nutmeg and salt. While the mixer is working, gradually add to the mixture of fat and sugar flour, alternating with buttermilk. Stir well until smooth. Using a spoon, put the dough on a prepared baking sheet, forming a biscuit, and put in the oven. Bake until the edges of the cookies are slightly brown, about 15 minutes.
