Cake For an Angel

1. Whisk egg whites until they turn white, and will not form firm peaks when you lift the mixer. Only then add soda, vanillin and almonds. 2. At least 5 times sift flour, sugar and salt together to form a homogeneous mixture of dry ingredients. 3. Gently combine whipped whites and flour, and then pour the resulting dough onto a dry round baking dish about 25 cm in diameter. The form with the bottom is best suited. 4. Place the cake in a cold oven. Now turn it on and heat up to 165 degrees Celsius. Bake the cake for about 1 hour, until the top of the cake turns golden brown. 5. When the cake is slightly cool, carefully remove it from the mold, cut into 12 equal portions, each put on a separate plate, decorate with whipped cream and forest berries.
