The first solar eclipse of 2015 will be complete, it will start March 20 at 09:46 GMT and last only 2 minutes and 47 seconds. But only people who are in the region of the Arctic and the northern part of the Atlantic Ocean can see it. The half-shadow of the eclipse will fall on Europe, the western part of Russia and will affect a small section of North Africa.

In Russia, only residents of Murmansk will enjoy this spectacle, it can be seen at 13:18 local time.

The second eclipse of the Sun this year is partial and its penumbra will capture only South Africa and Antarctica. It will begin on September 13, 2015 in the morning at 06:55 GMT and will last only 69 seconds.

Lunar eclipses of 2015

Surprisingly, the moon at full lunar eclipse becomes burgundy-red and visually increases in volume.

Total lunar eclipses will be two.

The first will begin on April 4, 2015 at 12:01 GMT, and it will be visible from the territories of North and South America, Australia and most of Asia.

The second - September 28, 2015 from 02:48 GMT, it can be observed by residents of Moscow and some cities in the European part of Russia. Also, this phenomenon will be seen from most of Europe, northern Africa and western Asia.
