Choose the first bread maker

At some point in your life, when you hear on the Internet the laudatory odes of a new, but still so unknown to you, unit as a bakery, you are thinking about buying it. But, having reviewed the opinions and opinions of customers, and also comparing the proposed models, you are confused definitively, and, most importantly, you are not yet fully determined whether you need it or not.

You can argue for a long time about the pros and cons of the breadmaker, but the fact remains: home bread is much tastier and even more useful than a store, because you always know its composition, and you never put preservatives there. What can you say about the incredible aroma that will wake you up in the morning, and only at one thought about the upcoming breakfast you will have a good mood.

Having such an assistant at home, you can not only bake different kinds of bread, but also knead dough for rolls, pies, ravioli, pizza ... everything is limited only by your imagination. It is worth noting that this feature is present even in the cheapest models.

It is impossible, however, not to note the only drawback of the breadmaker-it's a risk to get well, because not everyone can keep from fresh baking. But, who knows, maybe this fact will push you to the beginning of a healthy lifestyle (for example, to visit the gym and swimming pool). In any case, there are models where there is a function of bezdrozhzhevoy baking.

Despite the fact that the first bakery appeared in 1987 (it was developed by the Japanese company Matsushita Electric, now Panasonic Corporation)) more recently models on the market were presented quite a bit, so the buyers tried not to risk and preferred eminent brands. But now the situation has changed: today even the cheapest bread maker is able to bake a truly delicious and quality bread that will please the whole family. Therefore, if you buy a bakery for the first time, then it need not be the most expensive model.

Perhaps in the future you will rarely use it, and perhaps you will not need additional functions at all. Thus, you will get bakery for a very reasonable price, and in the future, whatever happens to your desire to bake bread, you will not be disappointed with the unsuccessful purchase. Well, if you seriously take a great interest in baking bread, and you need additional functions, you can buy a model and more.

So what to look for when buying a bakery?

First, you need to determine the breadth that you will bake. If you have a small family, or you eat bread only for breakfast, then look at the models with a small amount of baking (usually from 500 to 1000 g). But if the bread for you is all the head, and you do not imagine breakfast, lunch and dinner without bread on the table, then pay attention to models with a batch weight of 1000 to 1500g. It's great if there is a baking mass adjustment (for example today you want to bake a smaller bread -750 g, and tomorrow guests will come and need 1500g)

Of course, design and body material are of no small importance: in most models the case is made of plastic, light and inexpensive material, and for more expensive models it is made of stainless steel (the only drawback is the remaining spots on the surface, which, however, easily solved).

Breadmakers differ in power (from 450 to 860 W), respectively, the higher the power the faster bread will be baked, but the electricity costs will be slightly higher. But if you set yourself the task of baking whole-wheat bread, then look at more powerful models.

In the kit to the bread maker manufacturers offer a variety of baking forms: they can be rectangular, round, square. At first glance it does not really matter, but you have to decide for yourself which kind of loaf will be more preferable and convenient for you. Some companies produce breadmakers where it is possible to install a replacement bucket of another shape, or install special pallets where you can bake small baguettes and even buns.

All forms for bread makers have non-stick coating, which is very convenient, but you must handle them carefully, to avoid scratches, because the cost of an additional form is half the cost of the whole bread maker.

It is very convenient if there is a function of a memory margin in the event of a power failure (usually from 7 to 40 minutes).

Some breadmakers know how to maintain the temperature at the end of baking, they simply go into an economical mode, so that the baking remains warm, for example until breakfast.

Each bakery has 3 basic programs: standard and accelerated baking, wheat bread, and then their number can be increased to 17 (each additional function is reflected in the cost). The programs will differ in kneading time, baking time, baking temperature. In many models it is possible to weld jam, it is very convenient (the principle is similar to the multivark: laid fruit berries with sugar and it remains only to wait for the signal), but, unfortunately, the volume of the finished product is very small.

It is quite important that the bakery has a viewing window so that you can follow the baking process and, if necessary, make changes to the settings.

It is also welcome the availability of the delay start (or timer), it is very convenient, because you can lay food in the evening, and in the morning already enjoy hot bread. Usually the delay time is from 3 to 16 hours.

If you like baking, where you need to add additional ingredients (raisins, nuts ...) during the cooking, then the dispenser will help to facilitate this task. This special device, located on top of the lid, performs the function of the dispenser directly at the time of preparation (in models where there is no dispenser, when the need to bookmark additional ingredients is heard, a beep sounds and the bookmark occurs manually).

Also an important detail of the bread maker is a mixer located in the bottom. In cheaper models it is a plastic blade, but a more reliable construction is a knife made of non-stick aluminum.

Here are the main functions of the breadmakers and I would just like to say a few words about the manufacturers: PANASONIC, LG, MOULINEX-here are the obvious leaders of this market. Their big plus is also the availability of a wide network of service centers, as well as a long guarantee for their products.

Each firm has a large number of models, it remains only to find the one that is ideal for your family and will please you for many years.
