We cook homemade jelly from frozen berries
Before you start preparing the jelly, you need to prepare berries. To do this, they need to be thawed, thrown in a colander, cleaned of stone. It is better to grind small berries through a sieve. Large fruits can be left unchanged, and you can grind in a blender.
Cherry jelly from frozen berries
To prepare cherry jelly from frozen berries you will need the following products:
- frozen cherry - 2 cups
- starch - 3-4 st. l.
- sugar - 7-8 tbsp. l.
- water - 1 liter.

Cherries must be thawed, thrown back to a colander and rinsed with cold water. If there is a bone - remove. - Prepared berries pour water and cook on slow fire. If you do not want to have berries in the drink, then first chop the cherry in the blender. Add the resulting mass into the water and cook for 5-10 minutes, after which the cherry cake can be removed with a noisy.
- Once the water boils, you need to add sugar and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- While the cherry compote is boiling, you need to prepare the starch. To do this, fill the starch with cold boiled water, about half a cup for 4 tablespoons of starch without a roller coaster. Mix well the resulting mixture.
- Pour our diluted starch into a boiling cherry broth in a thin trickle, stirring constantly.
- Bring the jelly until thick and let it pour out for just one minute. Then remove the pan from the fire and let the drink cool down a little. Our kissel from frozen cherries is ready!
