Features of female orgasm

Sexuality is an inherent quality that can be inherent in both women and men. Sexuality is realized in women according to their biological laws, often this refers to the ability to receive satisfaction from sexual intercourse, that is, to orgasm.

The word orgasm is formed from the Greek word orgao, which in translation means "to burn with passion." Orgasm - this is the highest point, the peak of sexual arousal, after which there is a sharp release of sexual tension. Men experience orgasm during puberty: the first ejaculation they already experience orgasm. Later, orgasm happens with every ejaculation and almost with any sexual contact, which is a powerful stimulus for men to further sexual intercourse. In women, everything happens differently. The appearance of the first menstruation does not mean that a woman is able to feel an orgasm. Biologists believe that the peculiarities of female orgasm are that it is not biologically expedient in order to continue the genus, because the main task of a woman is the process of carrying out the fetus and its subsequent birth. That is why, in their opinion, the ability to experience orgasm in women is not programmed, unlike men.

Specialists in sexology distinguish the following phases in sexual intercourse: stimulation, then "plateau", the next phase is orgasm and after - refraction (otherwise relaxation).

Orgasm is a condition that is different from excitation, at which point all accumulated energy is spilled out in the form of muscle contractions that are not controlled. There are indirect signs by which we can say that there was an orgasm: rapid breathing or just a short-term delay in breathing, convulsive movements of the body, etc.

At the moment of orgasm, women have vivid impressions, unlike men. Some women feel warmth in the genitals, which spreads over the body. Some people have severe contractions of the vaginal muscles, and some have only tingling sensations, but they cover the entire body from head to foot. In one and the same woman, the features of orgasm and sensation at the moment of its onset can change with the passage of time.

Scientists conducted electrophysiological studies of the brain of women and it was revealed that they have changes in the brain, similar to those that occur in epileptic seizures. That's why some women can not control themselves at the moment of sensations of such stormy experiences. They can bite, cry, scream, etc. If they restrain their emotions, then their orgasm will be inferior, and this can lead to neurosis or false frigidity.

There are three types of female orgasm, which differ depending on the place of origin: vaginal, extravaginal and mixed. The second type includes oral, clitoral, anal orgasms, etc.

Sexologists separately distinguish the so-called psychological orgasm. Such orgasm can arise, for example, when watching a film of erotic content or reading, in a dream, etc. Clitoral orgasm in such situations is experienced by forty-five percent of women. Previously it was believed that only a vaginal orgasm can be considered a real female orgasm. Physiologically, an orgasm is real, if it led to a corresponding discharge and is able to bring satisfaction.

Among women there is a small part of those who are not excited. It is caused by physiological or hormonal disorders that have occurred in their body.

Anorgasmia

If a woman feels desire and is capable of being excited, but there is no discharge during sexual intercourse, then one speaks of such an phenomenon as anorgasmia. Physiologically, every woman is capable of experiencing orgasm if she does not have any hormonal disorders. The exception may be those women who suffer from vaginismus or if a woman and her partner have a clear discrepancy between the genitals. Statistics show that orgasm is experienced by forty to seventy percent of women. From 10 to 20% of women are frigid. And this suggests that ten to fifty percent of women do not get an orgasm for reasons that are not related to physiology.
