At various official receptions and banquets, the dishes are usually served on trays and placed in the center of the table. Confectionery such as cake or pastry with a cream is drained with a dessert fork or spoon, and dry baked goods are eaten by hand, biting off small pieces. Various fat donuts are cut into a plate with a dessert fork and eaten with a stick.

Candies without a wrapper are offered to guests in a bowl or a box. Fruit and marmalade are placed in a separate vase with a dessert spoon and spread over the bread with a knife.

During the feast, all used appliances and plates are collected with a pile, coming from the right side, while the tray is kept in the left hand. Do not put the plates in a pile if there are instruments in them. All forks, knives, scoops and spoons are placed on the tray next to the used dishes.
