The last 18 years, Dmitry Hvorostovsky was not separated from his wife, Florence. The woman was always there, giving up her own career. Florence Illi Hvorostovskaya accompanied her famous husband all over the world. Thanks to his flock, as he affectionately called his wife Hvorostovsky, he was able to get out of the severe depression that worried about the unsuccessful first marriage.

And before the meeting with Florence Illi Dmitry was married to the ballerina Svetlana Ivanova, whom he met while working at the Krasnoyarsk Opera House.
Friends and teachers tried to dissuade the young singer from the relationship with the woman, for whom the reputation of the heartbreaker was firmly entrenched. However, no arguments and persuasion did not work - Dmitry fell in love with a beautiful ballerina and did not want to hear anyone.
Three years after acquaintance the couple got married, and Dmitry adopted the daughter of Svetlana Masha.
Unfortunately, the happiness did not last long: once, having returned earlier from the tour, Hvorostovsky caught his beloved wife in bed with another man. For the artist it was a hard blow. There were rumors that Dmitry beat up lovers, so even they had to go to the doctors. Contrary to the expectations of friends, Dmitri Hvorostovsky forgave his wife, and soon the family left for London, deciding to start everything "from scratch". And they almost succeeded - in 1996 Svetlana and Dmitrii had twins.
