Even children should sometimes do something, regardless of fatigue and mood, for example, wash their hands before meals, put toys in their place, do homework. This will give a correct idea of independence, because in adulthood we do not always manage to do what we want. It often does not suffer delays.
About motivation.
Motivate the child is necessary. Orders without explanations will lead to the fact that the child will learn to obey and fulfill some requirements mechanically. But he will not know what he is trying for. But most importantly - he will not be surprised and useful in what you require of him. For example, every night brushing your teeth. Children are not averse to abandoning this ritual in favor of extra minutes at the TV. If you demand submission from them without explaining the reasons for which you require it, the child will protest. But in fact, these actions are aimed at taking care of his health, so the child should know that brushing your teeth is a contribution to your health, not stupid adult claims.
Especially important is the motivation in studies. We all know how imperfect our education system is and how difficult it is for a child to remain interested in learning for all the years that he spends in school and at the institute. Nevertheless, education is one of the requirements that puts forward life. Without it, it is difficult to achieve success and it is impossible to take place in many professions. At the same time, classes can very well be boring. Explain to the child that basic knowledge in the sciences, languages, some useful skills will help him become a happy person. In order to have an interesting busy life, you need to work hard. And only an educated person can fully choose the conditions of his work and expect a decent reward.
Inevitable difficulties.
It is known that everything in the world can not go smoothly. There may be difficulties on the way to achieving your goal. The child may well not cope with something. It is important to support him at such a moment, to do everything so that the failures will not scare away his desire to move on. It is especially necessary to explain the value of negative experience. Tell the kid about his mistakes, about the fact that they gave you the opportunity not to repeat them in the future.
The main thing is that failures are not accompanied by reproaches or punishments. Do not forget that children only learn what you have been able to do for a long time and they do not have one of your examples - personal experience is necessary, even if it is unsuccessful. Help the child, but do not try to perform the whole task for him. As soon as he learns something, understands and fixes knowledge, he will perfectly manage and without help. Try not to forget that everyone has the right to make a mistake, even the smallest person.
If you react responsibly to the formation of your child's personality, if your actions are dictated not only by love, but also by the voice of reason, by your experience, then the road to the development of leadership qualities in the kid will be much shorter and easier.
