Folk methods of treatment of radiculitis

How often do we hear: "I can not straighten up," and sometimes I myself feel a sharp pain in my back. And all this is called radiculitis. Let's look at the symptoms of the disease and folk methods of treating sciatica.

In general, radiculitis occurs in patients with osteochondrosis. Osteochondrosis, as a rule, develops with a sedentary lifestyle: the spinal cord nutrition is disrupted, the intervertebral cartilaginous discs lose their flexibility, the spinal nerves become jammed. At the junction of the vertebrae, salts are deposited, which harms the nerve endings. Where sediments are deposited, solid protrusions emerge that press on nerves. During physical exertion in the spine, unbearable shooting pain occurs.

Osteochondrosis after forty-five years is observed almost in every person, but in varying degrees. There is aging of all tissues of the body and bones. And when the pain comes, it's time to get better.

Prevention of osteochondrosis it is desirable to deal with youth, lead a mobile lifestyle, get involved in physical education. Very effective in swimming. During swimming, the spine is leveled, curvatures disappear. Also, a proper diet is important, which should include plant foods rich in vitamins, and foods that contain calcium. Therefore, from childhood it is necessary to develop the habit of using dairy products, in which there is a lot of calcium.

Radiculitis can cause, in addition to pain, partly loss of sensitivity, stiffness of movement. If you do not start treatment in time, then this disease can develop into a chronic stage, which will be accompanied by exacerbations.

There are three types of radiculitis:

The most effective are the products of beekeeping. The leader among these products is beeswax (a solid yellow-brown substance with the smell of honey). Wax is made on the affected area. To do this, melt the beeswax in a water bath, cool to such an extent that the patient could endure. Sore place is lubricated with burdock, propolis or fir oil. Then on this place, layers of pre-heated beeswax are applied. Next, cover the application with foil, top with a blanket, leave until it cools. After the first compress you will feel the effectiveness of such treatment, although not very pleasant.

If suddenly the burning becomes unbearable, then you need to remove the handkerchief or what you wrapped around, and the compress should be removed only after 2 hours, so that all the efforts have not gone unnoticed. Wash skin with soap after removing the compress, and spread it with some fat cream. If this is not done, the skin from kerosene will begin to peel.
