Folk methods of treatment of vitiligo

Probably, nothing more brings us so many worries and worries, as our appearance. And it's natural - we live surrounded by people, for the majority of whom we are strangers and unfamiliar. And the attitude towards us even in the most banal situation - in the store, for example, is formed not only by how we behave and how polite, but also on how we look.

That is why any skin diseases that violate our habitual appearance, cause depression of mood and a wave of negative emotions. And no wonder: we ourselves are uncomfortable, and people around us try to avoid touching. And even if the disease is not transmitted, as, for example, vitiligo - it is impossible to get infected through a touch. However, the appearance of the skin becomes unpleasant, and getting rid of this disease is quite difficult: despite the research conducted by specialists, the reasons for its occurrence are not completely clear. When the disease of vitiligo in a person is depigmentation of the skin - on the body, face, hands or feet, there are discolored spots of different sizes and shapes. The hair that is on the affected areas also becomes discolored.

As evidenced by medical statistics, in recent decades the number of cases of vitiligo is constantly increasing. And the main share of patients falls on young people. Perhaps, that is why the main causes of the disease are now considered to be stresses, the use of drinks and foods with a lot of preservatives, intoxication, liver disease, contacts with chemicals. Of course, for many years of searching for sources of the disease and methods of combating it, medicine specialists have found a whole range of medicinal products that help or reduce the manifestations of the disease to various degrees. Since the beginning of the twenty-first century, a laser has joined them. However, in the effectiveness of the application with them, it is quite possible to argue with folk methods of treating vitiligo, offering recipes in which the experience of herbalists and healers is collected.

Traditional methods of treatment, as usual, are based on natural preparations in the right combination. Tinctures, ointments, lotions and other products created from medicinal herbs, vitiligo was also treated by ancient healers. Everything that helped to restore the formation of pigment in the affected areas of the skin was used. Preserved some recipes to this day. However, when applying them, it should be remembered that in our time the ecology is not the same as it was before, and therefore the harvested plant raw materials should be taken away from cities, factories and industrial zones.

One of the most effective is the method of treating vitiligo with ordinary duckweed. For what a glass of dried herbs pour a liter of vodka and insist on light for three days. After the third day, the tincture is removed to a dark place where it continues to infuse for another four weeks. Then the resulting product is filtered, the finished medicine is taken daily by drop, adding a glass of vodka. Of course, this method is not entirely suitable for the treatment of young children. Children can be given a mixture of dried duckweed and honey, taken in equal parts. But, in general, it should be remembered that in the application of folk remedies for the treatment of children there are some subtleties.

A good, though not quick, result shows the use of plant and berry juices, which should be rubbed into the white spots themselves. For example, mix in equal parts the juice of strawberries, red pepper and St. John's wort.

A very good effect gives an ordinary tan. However, due to the fact that sunbathing is now contraindicated for many, it is better to combine the treatment with folk remedies with the achievements of science - for example, irradiation of damaged areas with the help of quartz or ultraviolet plants allowed for home use.

Ointment, which also gives an effect in the treatment of vitiligo, can be made at home from pork fat and parsnip flowers, as well as from a mixture of honey, copper sulfate, sulfur, wax, acetic essence and birch tar.

An ordinary dandelion, known to everyone and everyone, also helps very well with the disease of vitiligo. And, it should be applied in a complex way - both outside and inside. Warm infusion is drunk three times a day, and ointment from ground roots mixed with honey rubs white spots on the skin. By the way, other bitter medicinal plants are suitable as lotions - celandine, wormwood.

As an auxiliary, in the treatment of vitiligo, you can take and coniferous baths, which are perfectly combined with more effective folk methods of treatment.

Nutrition during the fight against vitiligo occupies an important place. Since in the body of patients, as a rule, not enough vitamins, in particular C, it is recommended to eat seafood, walnuts, buckwheat and barley groats, beets, cabbage, carrots, figs, apricots, cherries, as well as parsley and celery.

Naturally, folk remedies and methods of treatment of vitiligo are great. And, not all of them are safe, and some are just doubtful - for example, chicken bile. Therefore, choose the appropriate method should be carefully and carefully, so as not to cause complications or allergic reactions. Or, God forbid, other diseases, more serious. After all, yet vitiligo has one small plus - nothing, at least, does not hurt and does not even itch.
