Hair care for children

It is very rare that a child is born with long and thick hair. Most often, the hair that nature gave is formed closer to adolescence, when the process of puberty begins. But do not rely on one genetic predisposition alone.

The hairs of crumbs require careful care. After all, they are still so thin and weak. That are subject to a lot of external factors, such as dry air in the room, water hardness, ultraviolet rays, improperly selected shampoo and others.
If you want your child to have healthy and beautiful hair in the future, they should be taken care of properly.

Approximately at the 20th week of intrauterine life, the baby begins to grow hair. Some children are born with magnificent head of hair, and others - only with a small fluff on the head. Usually, this gentle infant fluff lasts only up to 2-3 months, and then gradually rolls out and falls out. In place of him come the hairs more rigid and thick. Their color may not have absolutely nothing to do with the color of the cannon that was before.
In principle, there is nothing complicated in those manipulations that need to be carried out with baby hair. Wash gently and gently comb it - that's the whole science. The most important thing in this case is not to hurry. Let all movements be measured and smooth. You can not put too much pressure on the child's head, especially at its most vulnerable place - the fontanel. Many children do not like it when they are washed up. If your baby is among them, your task is to distract him as much as possible.

The choice of shampoo should be approached with all responsibility. It should be necessarily special, for children, not causing tears and not containing salfat. Also in children's shampoo, the pH balance must be balanced (from 4.5 to 6). Another important nuance: baby shampoo should not foam much.
To wash a head (and to bathe with soap too) follows no more often one, a maximum, two times a week. The water should not be hot, its optimum temperature is 37-33 degrees. If the water is too hard - boil it with baking soda (half a teaspoon per 1 liter of water). After washing, rinse thoroughly with clean water. But the use of all kinds of balms and masks for children's hair will be unnecessary.

But you can use herbs! For example, rapid growth of hair and their strengthening will help rubbing into the scalp of nettle juice or aloe.
Do not dry the hair with a hair drier! The excessively hot air acts on the hair extremely negatively and destructively. Therefore, to dry the hairs it is better to use a regular towel. Just pat them hair, and then let the hair dry itself.
As for combing, then there are also a few nuances. For example, long hair should be started to comb from the ends, gradually approaching the roots. Do not rush, be extremely careful, do not pull and do not break the tangled hair. The fact is that long hair is most prone to tangling, because of this, and such precautions are needed. The comb itself should be made of natural material to prevent the occurrence of static electricity and not to injure the hair. The teeth should not be sharp, so as not to damage the baby's scalp.

A good effect on blood circulation and, accordingly, on hair growth, is provided by head massage. Try it, and you will see that it will surely please your crumb.
Elastic bands and hairpins should be selected correctly. They should not be too tight and tightening. Also, they should not have sharp parts that can hurt and cause pain to the child.
