The fish is rich in iodine and vitamins, and its frequent use lowers the risk of heart attack and stroke. There is a great variety of rolls: with raw fish or smoked. We will prepare a "winter", that is, a "warm" roll with smoked salmon. The end of the roll will be a simple sauce made from mayonnaise, soy sauce and slices of salmon. The roll is baked under the grill, just a few minutes, giving a slightly smoked flavor at the expense of soy sauce.
Ingredients:- Round-grained rice 140 g
- White wine vinegar 30 ml
- Smoked salmon 100 g
- Cucumber 1 pc.
- Mayonnaise 3 tbsp. l.
- Soy sauce 1 tbsp. l.
- Wasabi 5 g
- Seaweed nori 2 pcs.
- Step 1 To prepare a salmon roll, you'll need rice, preferably for sushi, smoked salmon, cucumber, mayonnaise, soy sauce, Nori and Wasabi seaweed.
- Step 2 Prepare the sauce. For this, chop finely the salmon.
- Step 3 Mix the mayonnaise and soy sauce to get a mass similar to thick sour cream. Add the salmon. Leave it.
- Step 4 Boil the rice until soft. Throw it in a colander and let it drain. Add the vinegar and let it brew.
- Step 5 Clean the cucumber and remove the seeds. Cut the cucumber and salmon on the small pieces.
- Step 6 Wrap the bamboo mat in a cellophane bag. Lay out the nori sheet and lay a thin layer of rice on top, leaving 1-2 cm from one edge. Put the cucumber and salmon.
- Step 7 Start rolling the roll by pressing uniformly from the top. Nori, not covered with rice, grease with water to improve the stickiness.
- Step 8 Roll the rolled roll onto a flat surface and cut 2-3 mm from the sides to level the roll.
- Step 9 Cut into 2 equal halves.
