How to choose a place for a baby crib

If there is an opportunity, many modern families try to equip a separate room for the baby. Just move the child into it right after birth is not worth it. Psychologists say that in order for a child to grow up mentally, mentally and physically, he needs a joint dream with his mother. Of course, Mom also needs to rest, take care of themselves and their deeds. When it is done, how not in the child's sleep hours ?! And yet, in the first year of your baby's life, try to put it with you at least for the night.

But if the bed is purchased, take care of the comfort and safety of your child. How to choose a place for a crib? It is important to follow certain rules.

To avoid overheating the child, do not put his bed near heating appliances (heaters, stoves, etc.). And the temperature in the room should be maintained within 18-22 ° C. Then both overheating and hypothermia are the least likely.

Now many children suffer from allergies. Therefore, immediately limit the situation in which the child is in contact with allergens. Remove from his room carpets and carpets, from which it is almost impossible to remove all the dust. If the room has to hold books, then move them to the glass cabinets. Dust is an environment in which microbes such as streptococci, staphylococci, salmonella remain active for a long time ...

Of course, exclude the possibility of getting into the children's room of tobacco smoke. If the room is adjacent to the balcony, which is chosen for smoking dad, the pope will have to change his habits in the interests of the child.

It is important to provide for the possibility of ventilating the baby's room. The room with access to the balcony is an excellent option. In this case, the influx of fresh air necessary for the child is ensured. Fresh air promotes hardening of the child, which means that it increases resistance to various colds. In the open air the baby sleeps longer and more quietly. It is necessary to add to this a favorable effect of fresh air on the nervous system.

Fresh air must constantly flow into the child's room, but you do not need to create drafts. If the housing conditions are such that drafts "walk", zave a dense cloth on the sides of the crib.

Very often there are disagreements about whether the children's room (specifically the place where the baby sleeps) should be isolated from noise. Imagine that the child has got used to sleep in complete silence and wakes up from the slightest noise. Not only will all the cases have to be postponed (and when should they be dealt with?). Having matured, the child does not say "thank you" for such "happiness". The noise of the street or calm voices will not prevent the child from sleeping, if he hears them constantly. You will calmly take care of household chores without fear of waking and frightening the baby. But the screaming radio, TV or computer cause negative consequences (read about this in the section).

Given safety issues, do not choose a place for a crib near power outlets and electrical appliances. And on the wall above the bed itself, do not hang ornaments.

Do you have indoor plants at home? Are you sure that they are safe? Some, for example, geranium or ficus, are genuine natural air ionizers. Such plants can be "put" in the nursery. There are also toxic plants: oleander, begonia and many, many others. Some plants are capable of causing allergic reactions: the same geranium. Read more about the properties of plants before they enter the child's room.

The lighting of the place where you put the bed should be very good. A broad overview will allow a curious baby to see everyone and everything.
