How to behave when you see a pack of dogs

Stray dogs that wander in huge packs, perhaps, in any city, in any settlement - this is the real scourge of modern society. It would seem that we should be responsible for all those. Who we bring to our homes - but in practice everything is sometimes the other way around. After playing, we throw puppies out of the house for the fact that they, it turns out, can spoil the furniture, mark the corners of the house, tear wallpaper, tights and eat without stopping. It's so difficult for us to keep track of a four-legged pet, that we put him outside the threshold in the hope that there will be someone compassionate who will pick up the animal and will take care of it better than we do. But if this happens sometimes, then most of the time our puppies live on the street, learning all the wisdom of survival. And then we are surprised: "Why are stray dogs so aggressive, why can they rush to a man? ". About this topic you can talk as much as you want from the position of morality, but is there any sense? We'd rather talk about how to behave when you see flocks of dogs that can attack you at any moment.

Perhaps the question of how to behave when you see a pack of dogs that bravely bravely in your direction, looking askance out from under the shaggy eyebrows, is most of all worried about young mothers who take their little children out for a walk.

For young mothers, we want to give advice first. First, behave yourself at the sight of large stray dogs, as calmly as possible, without giving out any excitement. Scientists have proved that the dog reacts very sharply to the release of adrenaline, which is accompanied by human fear. Secondly, when you see a pack running towards you, try to change the route without haste. Try to go to the other side of the road or turn somewhere. Thirdly, when you see dogs do not make loud frightened sounds, look carefully at the baby - does he wave his arms invitingly, attracting the attention of the dog pack? Take the hands of crumbs with something, just not edible or rustling. Fourthly, with the youthful nails, educate your child a special attitude to stray dogs. And note that this relationship should not be formed on the basis of hatred and aggression. Children should understand that the dogs that live on the street are the same animals as the domestic ones, they simply do not have a house and do not have a master - but this does not make them worse. Teach also that you can watch the flock from afar, you can not approach it closely, since it is not known how these dogs treat strangers.

After all, it is possible that all life on the street they received only kicks from passersby - and then no good feeling towards the child will move in their shaggy soul and they can easily play on it their offense to the whole human race.

So, if a pack of large or small, well-groomed or shabby and shaggy dogs runs towards you, and you do not see people who might be their masters - you can safely assume that these dogs are stray dogs. And guess: what's in their head? - You can not. You can only assume that these dogs do not want you to touch them. This is the psychology of all healthy and adequate dogs. They know at the genetic level that man is a stronger being, that he is the one who conquered and tamed them. Therefore, just so they will not climb to you. But this does not mean that you do not need to be afraid of stray dogs: among them sick and unpredictable and aggressive individuals who are able to attack a person without obvious reasons can get caught.

Previously, among the masses was very common advice that if you notice a dog that is going to attack you, you need to quickly bend to the ground and pretend that you are picking up a stone for attack. Some dogs are really frightened of such a sharp movement, but you should not experiment with it if you have bigger dogs. And that's why. Dogs without a home are a special kind of animals, they have much better developed all the feelings and skills of fighting, reflexes help them survive - and they can push such a dog at risk to attack first on the offender. That is, as long as you lean over the stone, the dog will try to jump on you as soon as possible and grab the skin. Therefore, such a method can be called effective when a voiced chatter passes by you, rather than a huge aggressive dog.

Never look at stray dogs in the eyes - no dog likes these "dueling looks", they can irritate the dog and, thereby, push him to attack the offender.

The leader of a pack is that dog, from the "decision" of which the behavior and actions of the whole flock depend. Therefore, if you see that an attack is inevitable - you should direct all efforts to deprive the stability of the leader. When attacking a dog, it is necessary to sit down sharply, to put one hand forward, marking it in the throat of the dog. That is, ideally you need to grab him by the throat, and with your free hand start striking the nose - the most painful place of the dog.

Of course, such technical skills are unlikely to have by anyone who often encounters a pack of dogs. And very sorry - it seems to me that if you have a pack in your yard, then you need to learn it urgently.

Running away at the sight of a flock of dogs is not immediately recommended - after all, animals run faster than people. Try to divert the attention of dogs - throw them some "bait", which they can take for a person in a risky frenzy. Such an object can become your jacket, bag, bags of food - the latter, by the way, can hold up the hungry pursuers for a long time, after all, why do they need inedible prey, if from the package there are different flavors?

There is such, it is possible to tell, a subgroup of people on which stray dogs attack more often. With what it is connected - it is not known to the end, however it is a fact. So, such people should always carry the means that can repel the attack of the dog. Among them you can call an electric shocker. But right away we make a reservation - the device is not safe for a person. And you need to be able to handle it, so that the charge of electricity does not get into you, and not into the attacking dog. Still there is a "folk" remedy - carry a pepper in your pocket in your pocket more sharply, and when the dog approaches you with a threatening kind - just pour a handful of pepper into the face. The receptors of the animal wail from such treatment and it, whimpering, is retired.

Well, the best option is not to walk alone where dogs can attack you. Let husbands, fathers, brothers, friends meet you from a stop and see you home with packages. And do not forget to take a bat or a stick with you from home.
