The recipe for corn porridge on the water
Lenten corn porridge on the water will help normalize the work of the gastrointestinal tract, will give strength and give the body only the most necessary substances. It will be a great quick breakfast or a snack for those who want to lose weight.
Necessary ingredients:
- croup - 1 glass
- water - 2.5 cups
- salt - to taste
- Butter - 20 grams
Cooking method:
- The groats should be sorted, examined for small pebbles and washed in running water.
- In a saucepan, boil the necessary amount of water and pour the rump into boiling water.
- Salt, mix, cover and reduce the heat to a minimum.
- Cook for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally. When the corn porridge on the water thickens, turn off the fire, add butter, mix and let stand for 40-50 minutes. That the dish is not cold, you can wrap the pan with a towel.
This is the simplest recipe for corn porridge, which can be "complicated" by diversifying the dish with splashes of fried onions, bacon or vegetables. Served as a side dish or an independent lean dish.
Corn porridge on milk
Such a treat will appeal to both adults and children. If you add raisins or nuts, it will just be delicious, and the benefits of dried fruits will add to the useful properties of the cereal! Such food will be extremely useful for young children and the elderly who lack vitamins and minerals.
Necessary ingredients:
- cereals - 1 glass
- milk - 2 cups
- water - 2 cups
- butter - 2 tbsp. l.
- sugar - 1 tbsp. l.
- salt - a pinch
Cooking method:
- Croup cut for small scale and pebbles, rinse in running water.
- Milk pour into a saucepan with a thick bottom, boil, turn off the heat and leave to cool.
- In another saucepan bring to the boil the usual water, and then pour out the washed rump.
- Cook on low heat, stirring occasionally.
- The water will evaporate after about 5-7 minutes. When this happens, pour into the pan a little cooled milk, salt and mix. Mix as often as possible so that grains do not stick to the bottom and walls.
- After 15-20 minutes, the corn porridge on the milk will be ready. Before serving, add sugar and butter to it, mix it.
Sugar is not necessarily added in the process. Place the sugar bowl on the table, and let everyone sweeten the dish to taste.
Corn Porridge with Pumpkin
A real autumn treat for the whole family. There are many recipes for cooking such a dish, and in each pumpkin is served in different ways: grated, slices or even as a pot, inside which lies a fragrant gruel!
Necessary ingredients:
- groats-1 glass
- water - 2.5 cups
- pumpkin - 250 grams
- walnut - 50 grams
- salt - a pinch
- sugar - 1 tbsp. l.
- butter - 30 grams
Cooking method:
- Boil the water in a saucepan, and when the first bubbles appear, pour out the rump.
- Pumpkin peel and cut into small cubes with a side of 1-1.5 cm.
- Put the pumpkin into a saucepan 5 minutes after boiling, clean the fire, add salt, mix and cook until ready.
- Before serving, fill the dish with sugar, sprinkle with nuts and put a piece of butter on top.
