Cook rice with pork This recipe produces a wonderful second course! Basmati rice itself has a characteristic pleasant aroma, and in combination with roast pork, sage and coriander it is even more delicious! Thanks to turmeric, rice gets a rich golden color and looks impressive and original! Always serve such a hot rice!
Ingredients:- Pork pulp 600g
- Turmeric 1 tsp.
- Coriander dry 0.2 tsp.
- Pepper black ground 2 pinch
- Salt 2 tsp.
- Olive oil 4 tbsp. l.
- Sage Fresh 2 sprigs
- Onions 1 pc.
- Long grain rice 300 g
- Water 1.2 l
- Step 1 To prepare this dish, we need rice basmati, pork, sage (fresh or pickled), onions, olive oil, salt, black pepper, coriander, turmeric, water.
- Step 2 Pork pulp is cut into cubes of medium size.
- Step 3 Onions are cleaned, cut into small cubes and lightly fried in olive oil.
- Step 4 Add the pork to the pan.
- Step 5 Fry the meat with onions on high heat, constantly stirring, to light golden color.
- Step 6 Sage leaves are crushed.
- Step 7 Add the crushed sage to the meat, also a little bit of its salt.
- Step 8 Continue to fry over medium heat for about 3 minutes.
- Step 9 Put basmati rice into the frying pan.
- Step 10 Rice sprinkle with turmeric and black pepper, add a little coriander.
- Step 11 Fill the contents of the frying pan with salted boiling water. Cover it with a lid and cook over low heat until rice is ready, without opening the lid. If all the water is absorbed into the rice, and it will not be ready, then pour some more boiling water.
- Step 12 In the end we'll get crumbly golden and delicious rice with pork and a scent of spices! We serve rice in a hot form for lunch as a second course!
