How to decorate an apartment for the new year?

By the New Year holidays, we are all preparing with a special thrill. We are looking for gifts to loved ones, we think, what would please them at the New Year's table and, of course, we decorate our homes. It's so nice to go from the frosty snowy street to a warm and cozy house, where the atmosphere of warmth, coziness and approaching holiday is in the air.

The decoration of an apartment is a pleasant and exciting thing and as a rule all members of the family are involved in it. Approach this process seriously, give simple assistants to small assistants. And after the graduation, all of you will enjoy the results of joint efforts together, gathered on New Year's Eve at a round table.

How can you decorate an apartment for the new year?

First you need to decide whether you will buy jewelry or you will use hand-made, ie do it yourself. Indeed, the choice of Christmas decorations in stores is now very large, but in the modern world things are becoming more popular things made by themselves. And Christmas decorations for the house are not exceptions.

1. We will need a purchase of a one-color ball and unnecessary textile accessories. From the pieces cut any motifs and paste them on the ball, decorate with colored sparkles. Also, the ball can be wrapped in a colored grid, and a bright ribbon can be tied on top.
2. We take an orange, a cinnamon stick and a ribbon. The orange is cut into slices and dried in the oven. We tie the cinnamon ribbon and tie it to the orange. From above we make a hook or tie a ribbon for fastening on the tree. Decoration is ready.
3. Balls can cut even paper. To do this, you need to cut a few small circles of small diameter, bend them in half and glue together the bent parts among themselves, straighten and the toy is ready.

1. Recently, such techniques as kevings have become popular. On this system it is necessary to cut thin long strips of paper and twist them with a snail, and then glue them together with the help of glue in the form of a snowflake.
2. It will be faster and easier to cut out snowflakes the way parents showed us in childhood. To do this, fold the A5 sheet with a cone, draw interesting and unusual lines on it and cut it out along the contour.

The entrance door can be decorated with a wreath made of pine needles or a composition of dry branches with balls or cones. Beautifully it will look like a flashing coniferous garland on the contour of the door.

On the windows you can hang beautiful decorative pictures made with the help of balls and twigs, but you need to attach flashing lights or a coniferous garland to the window.

Below on the curtain we sew tinsel, and on the canvas we attach snowflakes or other funny Christmas decorations.

Chandeliers, floor lamps and sconces are decorated with tinsel and we hang balls or bumps on long ropes. Ropes can be made of different lengths.

Do not forget to pay attention to paintings, watches, decorative cushions, chairs, if there is a fireplace and stairwell. Make beautiful compositions on thumbs and tables. Not necessarily the same, part can be decorated with compositions with candles, part of needles.

Remember that you should not use all kinds of colors, limit yourself to two or three and stick to the chosen scale, otherwise the room will look a bit lame.
