What is iodine bromine baths

Baths with bromine and iodine are known for a long time, but their recognition was received by doctors relatively recently. Iodine is the most important element of our body, without which our existence in nature is simply impossible. Bromine and iodine are biologically active substances and are found in various tissues and organs. So, bromine is a component of the hypothalamus and pituitary gland, and iodine is the main component of the thyroid gland. How to make iodide-bromine bath

You can prepare a bath with bromide iodine in two ways:

  1. Using natural mineral water. But at the same time it should contain at least 25 mg / l of bromine and 10 mg / l of iodine. The total mineralization of iodine-bromine water should be about 15 - 35 mg / l.
  2. The second option is the preparation of a medical bath at home. To do this, you need to collect water in the bathroom and dissolve in it sea salt or salt in the calculation of 2 kg of salt in 200 liters of water. The water temperature should be 37 degrees. Separately, a mixture of bromine and iodine is prepared. For this, a liter of water is poured into a glass jar of dark glass and dissolved there potassium bromide (250 g) and sodium iodine (100 g). Such a solution can be stored in the refrigerator for no more than 7 days. Take 100 ml of the resulting solution and pour into a bath with salt. Now you can lie in the tub for 10-15 minutes. The procedure should be repeated for 12-15 days daily. The components can be bought in the pharmacy in the form of separate components, or a ready-to-use iodine-bromine mixture or salt.

The use of iodide-bromine baths is very useful for our body, but in any case, if you decide to indulge yourself with such therapy, you'd better go to a special sanatorium where it will be conducted correctly, or to visit doctors in advance for a full consultation.
