The ribbon is folded in half, then the top corner is bent down. That is, the ribbon receives one fold at the bottom and two at the top. The so-called "ears" tapes are picked up and crossed, one of the turns is turned into a circle formed at the bottom and tightened into a knot.
   
2. According to another method of making a classic bow, two ribbons must be used. One goes for the base of the bow, and the other for the fixation of the center. The ends of the tape are crossed, with a residue of 2-3 cm. A circle is obtained, which is compressed with crossed ribbons evenly in the middle, and threaded. Another tape is needed to cover the seam and form a knot from the wrong side of the bow.
   

Sometimes one or more separate layers of a ribbon are added to the classical bow, then it becomes a little more interesting.
