Candlesticks are very popular today, because they are able to create a cozy and / or romantic atmosphere at home. Currently, a large number of candlesticks are represented on the market, which makes it possible to choose a candlestick for any occasion, a celebration. But at times there may be a desire to make candlesticks at home. Today Handmade is popular. The great demand is explained by the desire of people to surround themselves with unique handmade accessories. Some, on the contrary, want to create a candlestick with their own hands, embodying all their creative abilities.
Doing your own candlestick is interesting and easy enough. Here are a few options for making candlesticks.
Option 1
To make a candlestick you will need: glass vases, bowls, small jars or glasses, glitters, PVA glue, paint, sea salt. Sea salt is sifted, we take large crystals on a candlestick. The glass vessel is well coated with PVA glue and put the vessel in salt. The entire surface must be covered with crystals of sea salt. The vessel is set aside until it is completely dry. Now we take the usual clerical glue (or liquid glass) and cover it with the whole surface of the candlestick. This must be done so that the salt does not absorb moisture, and the candlestick served for a long time. While the glue is still dry, sprinkle the product with sequins. We wait while the glue dries. After the glue dries, the candlestick begins to paint, although it is already beautiful. To paint the product is recommended by airbrush, if there is no possibility, then you can use the usual sponge. The candlestick is better to paint in several layers, so it will turn out to be a darker color.
Option 2
For production you will need disposable sticks for sushi or for shish kebab, decorative tapes, glue "Silach" or "Titan", paint can, dried flowers, candles. Let's get down to work: cut out a small square from cardboard, stick sticks on it. Sticks should lie flat. At the edges of the cardboard we glue the decorative silver ribbon. Now the cardboard should be put under a heavy press. While the stock dries, prepare any dried flowers, you can take any dry grass. You can also take chestnuts, acorns or cones and other dry fruits and / or plants. We get out from under the press the prepared cardboard and paste on it the prepared ingredients. After everything has already been glued, take a can of paint (by the way, you can choose any color) and spray the paint evenly on the finished product. We leave the candlestick until the paint dries completely. Now, on the protruding parts of the product design (it can be shoots or twigs) we tie a few ribbons that can be tied in a beautiful bow. Now the candlestick can be put on the table, which by its presence will decorate any table.
Option 3
Another easy way is to make an original candlestick that would be suitable for any holiday. To make this candlestick you will need: several glasses or other glass vessels of suitable size, self-adhesive film, balloons with paint (you can do with one can). To produce such a candlestick, glasses with smooth and even walls, stacks for strong alcoholic beverages will suit. The vessel should be small in size, as we will make candlesticks for small candles. You can buy pretty cups on the market. Take the self-adhesive film and cut off the strip equal to the height of the chosen cup. Next, we cut out several figures from the strip. What to cut depends on the purpose of the candlestick, for example, if you make a candlestick on Halloween, then you can cut out a pumpkin and / or bat from the film (you can 1 piece, and you can 2). Figures themselves do not need, in our case, only the slits on the film are useful. Next, the film is pasted on a glass and we paint it from the can several times. After the paint has dried, we remove the film and you see cute pictures. By the way, in this case, you can dream up and make a color picture, then the resulting candlestick will look even more beautiful and chic.
