How to wash your hands properly

Unfortunately, recently we are thinking more about how to raise our welfare, not realizing that it directly depends on our health. We do not have enough time even to wash our hands, what can we already say about correct, dietary nutrition? And after all, what could be easier: washing your hands before eating? And, nevertheless, we forget about it. And this is, almost the most important reason for the occurrence of health problems. Once this seemingly unnecessary occupation has brought immense benefits and contributed to the fight against such terrible epidemics of plague and cholera. But do you know how to wash your hands properly? Yes, yes ... It's not as simple as it seems.

Hygiene in the fight against various infections is very important. Nowadays, even children know that infections and bacteria develop best on dirty areas of the body. Many doctors believe that Russians have not paid due attention to hygiene since ancient times. But is it?

Yes, doctors can understand: they are already so tired of fighting with people who are carriers of infections that are harmful to health and even life. But should the entire Slavic people be considered "dirty"? Let's remember history. Defeating in the war with Napoleon, in 1812 the Russian troops marched with a victory over Europe and were very surprised that in most countries they did not know what a bath was, whereas in Russia bathhouses had been used since time immemorial. It was the Russian soldiers who taught to build bathhouses for Germans and for the French. So is it worth blaming the Russians for not loving hygiene?

The largest number of infections is transferred through unwashed hands. Hands should be washed before eating, after going to the toilet, traveling in transport, after physical contact with unhealthy people and animals (even domestic animals). As a result, our homes become shelters for various infections. They wove their "nests" on the door handles, switches, tables, public places (toilet, bathroom), on your clothes, bed linen and towels are also a great home for infections and bacteria. Therefore, every member of the family, even if he did not leave the apartment, may be prone to attacking the infection. Thus, people become infected with the flu, ARVI, intestinal infections, hepatitis, skin and other diseases. Weakened immunity can lead to inflammation of the lungs, which in turn can result in a fatal outcome. By the way, in Americans, pneumonia takes eighth place due to mortality.

Most people do not even suspect that the process they call "washing hands" is not and does not do any good. Wherever a person washed their hands - whether it's a public place or their own "native" bathroom - the scenario of washing one's hands. The person, with unwashed hands, takes hold of the tap to open it, immediately wipes his hands, and then takes up a dirty tap to close it, thereby destroying the meaning of the process, because all the dirt left on the tap again "jumped" into his hands. At the same time, the person is fully confident that he has washed all the bacteria from his hands, and is very surprised when he has illnesses that need to be treated for a long time, while spending a lot of money.

My hands are right.

What does the proper process of washing hands look like? First, take off all the ornaments (they also need to be washed separately), open the faucet and wash your hands with soap. Then wash with a soap tap and close. Of course, it takes a little longer, but not comparable less than treat intestinal diseases. In addition, the home tap is already quite clean. Provided that you keep your apartment clean and tidy. Well, in public places it is better to do this, of course, if you want to preserve your health. After washing the faucet, wash your hands again with soap (inner and back of your hands), wash the soap off your hands and close the tap. In a public toilet it is worth doing this with a paper towel.

Rules for washing hands.

These rules are simple and not complex. You will soon get used to them, and the reward to you will always be clean hands and perfect health.

Many people wash their hands, just dab them with water and the process is over. This "washing" leads to the fact that the bacteria are only beginning to rapidly and actively multiply. Wet and warm environment is very favorable for microorganisms.

Soap dish for soap should be constantly dry, so that the soap can dry up in it, and not vice versa wet.

Liquid soap is also not the best option. Especially the one that stands in public toilets. This is due to the fact that a lot of infections get through the soap dispenser, as many people touch it.

Many just keep a piece of soap in their hands and lie back in the soapbox. This is not true. The more you form the foam from the soap in your hands, the more microbes will die.

The towel should also be kept clean and dry. It should be changed constantly.

Excessive purity.

Some people rush to the other extreme and this must also be mentioned.

Most microbiologists state that diseases in humans can arise not only from excessive dirt, but also from excessive purity. It sounds contradictory, but it's true. The desire for sterility also does not lead to anything good. Scientists have performed many experiments on mice and rats and here are the results: rats that were kept in sterile conditions had very weak immunity, but the individuals that were collected in garbage and collectors had excellent immunity.

If we believe these studies, then people who have grown in perfect purity have a very weak and susceptible immune system, and at a later age start to react sharply to various stimuli, unlike people who grew up in less strict conditions.

In countries with a more developed culture, cases of allergic reactions, asthmatic symptoms, lupus erythematosus and rheumatoid arthritis have recently become more frequent. And in our country, children suffering from allergies, more than eighty percent. But in the "third world" countries people do not suffer from such diseases. But still, is it really an excessive love for purity in all this?

There are two different concepts: purity and disinfection, but many confuse these two concepts. Let's see, what's the difference?

Means of disinfection, advertised today is excessive, we buy up in huge lots. And all because in the advertising, bacteria are presented to us as horrible and eerie creatures.

However, not all bacteria are so dangerous and can cause diseases in our country. There are various bacteria that are very useful for our body and, being on the human skin, they delay the reproduction of bacteria and help restore balance in our body.

But, washing out constantly "to shine" yourself and your apartment, you deprive your body of a kind of "shield".
