Homemade kozinaki from Seeds Kozinaki - eastern sweetness. Most often, kozinaki is made from nuts and combines them with honey-sugar caramel. Then the mass is formed by the layer, allowed to cool and cut into pieces. Kozinaki can be made from walnuts, peanuts, pearl barley, sesame, poppy, even from apples and carrots. I suggest preparing traditional kozinaki from sunflower seeds. It turns out very tasty treat!
Ingredients:- Seeds of sunflower seeds 200g
- Sugar 3 tbsp. l.
- Honey 1 tbsp. l.
- Sunflower refined oil 1 tbsp. l.
- Step 1 Kozinaki from sunflower seeds are prepared from sugar, honey, sunflower seeds.
- Step 2 Combine sugar and honey. Heat over low heat.
- Step 3 Sugar and honey should melt and form a homogeneous mass without crystals of sugar.
- Step 4 Combine the melted sugar-honey mixture and the peeled sunflower seeds.
- Step 5 Mix well, so that each seed is smeared with sugar-honey mass.
- Step 6 Lay the mass on a foil 1 cm thick greased with sunflower oil.
- Step 7 Cut the still warm mass with a knife on the strips.
- Step 8 After cooling, divide the kozinaki into portions.
