Advantages of such cabbage in the speed and simplicity of cooking - after 4 hours you can with pleasure crunch a fragrant cabbage, more like a full salad. Cabbage "Provansal" can be preserved, but everyone who cooked it, it was eaten on the same day, so I recommend to store it in a glass jar in the refrigerator.
Ingredients:- Cabbage white cabbage 1000 g
- Carrot 1 pc.
- Pepper sweet 1 pc.
- Garlic 1 clove
- Water boiled 125 ml
- Salt 1 tbsp. l.
- Sugar 60 g
- Sunflower refined oil 75 ml
- Table vinegar 5 ml
- Step 1 For the preparation of pickled cabbage you will need: white cabbage, carrots, sweet pepper, garlic, water, salt, sugar, vegetable oil and acetic essence (70%).
- Step 2 Shred cabbage.
- Step 3 Carrots cut into thin strips or use a grater to prepare carrots in Korean.
- Step 4 Cut the sweet pepper into 4 pieces, and then chop or thinly cut.
- Step 5 Grate garlic on a fine grater or squeeze through a press.
- Step 6 Prepare the marinade: in half a glass of cold boiled water dissolve salt and sugar, pour in the oil and 1 tsp. acetic essences.
- Step 7 In a large saucepan, stir the cabbage, carrots, peppers and garlic.
- Step 8 Pour cold marinade and mix. Cabbage should be pressed with something heavy - for this you can cover it with a plate and put a jar of croup or a mortar on top (all that suits you in weight and size).
- Step 9 Remove the cabbage in a cool place - after 4 hours it will be ready - you can put it in a glass jar and store it in the refrigerator.
